The throttle response on this bike is fine, you'll get used to it. It's only really jerky in first gear sometimes, when you completely let off on the throttle then bring it back.
Throttle response is no worse than my Street Triple - maybe there's a difference between each bike. It's a tad lumpy at a constant throttle but I love the bike. Might have slightly different views if I commuted regularly in the city but I don't :-).
+NZbird You're quite possibly right - might be a bike by bike issue. That said, it's no worse than most bikes from just a few years ago. It's just that in comparison to all the latest bikes from Ducati, Aprilia, BMW et cetera, the throttle is noticeably abrupt - at least on the bike I rode.
+TheRideAdvice Your spot with your view of the throttle I also own both the Street Triple R and the GSX S1000F and have ridden it just on 2000km and it's probably the only thing that I can fault on the bike if you can call it a fault.
I'm having a Bazzaz Z-Fi Fuel Controller installed on mine as we speak plus the bike will tuned on a dyno so will be interesting to see what it achieves in both throttle response and power did the same thing with my W800 and Street Triple R with pretty good outcomes on both bikes.
Chips Cooper Read the TPS thread and make sure you have the latest ECM. Maybe mention it to the people doing the work so they can at least confirm it is actually adjusted correctly.

Good review, I thought the throttle response was a deal breaker, at least for me. Apart from that the bike was really nice with tons of power.
For 200 dollars you can get the ECM flashed and it takes care of the throttle issue as well as unleashing the beast within

I'm looking at possibly buying one of these so checked out the forums. Apparently a slight adjustment to the TPS can make a lot of difference.

What is the fly screen brand used? Looks factory.
good job
nice intro
Can someone tell me, if this small windshield from Suzuki is working, or is it better Barracuda higher windscreen?
it does have a sliper clutch
Initially reviews said it has one, future reviews seems to say otherwise
Mine does not have a slipper clutch
throttle sucks!!!
is there a way to fix it??
Get the ECM flashed or put a PCV in
