- A LOT of you have been asking me to talk about this so I finally caved and did it. I absolutely loved working with Netflix and I can't express in words how grateful I am that they took a chance on me and gave me 2 season of my own Netflix Original Series. It was a total dream come true! The weird stuff that happened with Customer Service was a bizarre fluke that only happened for a few days and then Netflix worked really hard to resolve the issue. I have no beef or drama with Netflix. Only gratitude. Hope I cleared the air for you all! I can't wait for you all to see the projects I'm planning on in 2018! Love you so much! And thanks for making Haters Back Off happen! I will be posting some more Behind The Scenes stuff from Haters Back Off really soon! :)

I was so sad when I found out I was on the last episode
Oh this seriously bums me out. Me and my daughter just binge watched 2 seasons. I came here to find out when season 3 starts 😭. And you're allowed to cry! This is definetly worthy of a tub of ice cream, 3 of your best girlfriends, and a good hard cry while sitting on the kitchen floor....with your ice cream. I'm crying and its not my show 😞😢. BUT then you'll get up off the floor, dust yourself off, wipe the ice cream off your chin and go create something fabulous for us to love....we'll be here 😊

I really do wish that netflix made the season 3 as its oddly empowering in a comical sense. I have suffered from chronic depression since i was 5 years old. I felt hopeless and that everyone just wanted to tear me down no matter if i was good or bad at something. Haters back off may just be a comedy for some but for others it basically empowers us to be proud of ourself no matter the situation you are in. I sincerly want to thank you for all the episodes as it helped me to start standing up for myself and it got me laughing again. So i completely understand how crushing it is to not be able to have that season 3 as in a way it is your baby. Its apart of you and what you have been through. In fact in some ways many have gone through. Thank you so much for your work :)

It's not because we all love the show here that they should continue producing it. Colleen's community is huge, but I think the reason why it was cancelled is purely marketing. I don't think it was very profitable, because it seems that not enough people watched the show.
I honestly didn't like season 1 very much, but I quickly fell in love with season 2. I guess the season 1 wasn't very entertaining.
But the ending of season 2 is so frustrating knowing there wont be a season 3 😭

This makes me so sad. Haters back off was one of my favourite shows, and I've been following Miranda and Colleen's journey for so long. At the end of season 2 I was so freaking excited to see more, it was such a cliffhanger. But there was always this feeling deep in guts, that there wouldn't be another season. So when I heard the news, I was like "I knew that already". And I'm truly, deeply sad and disappointed.. I'm still gonna rewatch the show over, and over again.
And girl, you don't sound crazy. It's ok to cry.

I think she should do a video explaining what was supposed to happen and then let the show Rest In Peace. All though we all want it we all know it’s unrealistic that she will find a way to continue the show or make a movie and frankly that’s won’t work.

David Ezzell How'd you get into acting? How would you suggest a beginner start?
11 11Well I did a fair amount of shows in College, and some community theatre since then. I’m sure there are way mor qualified people than me to answer your question, but I would say just get started. Do your research, go to a TON of auditions. Seriously audition for everything. You will always learn something from a part even if it isn’t one you had in mind and especially if it is a character that isn’t like you at all.
Also remember that good acting is REacting. Be in the moment. If you’re thinking about how you look or how you’re going to say your next line you aren’t focused on your scene or your fellow actors and it will show.
I recommend The Actor and the Target by Declan Donnellan and Audition by Michael Shurtleff.

I LOVED this!!! Colleen is one of the few people that will open up to her fans and talk about the good and BAD! I feel we are all lucky to be a part of her internet family. I understand Netflix for not continuing the show, what I don’t understand is why they just cancel it. In my opinion they should have either told her after the ending of season 1 or just one last season. Ending the show in a cliffhanger they should have given her an opportunity to tell everything she had to since she won’t be able to after Netflix owns her story. Just my opinion.

Netflix did the same to Sense 8 (before they gave in to a special finale because fans kept bugging them). Unfortunately that's just how TV works and creators take that risk when making it.
I understand the show wasn’t getting enough views, but what I don’t get is why they do it without warning. They could have told her ending season one “hey we are only giving you one last season so end it up”. Instead they dumped it in the middle of a cliffhanger leaving us with too many questions.

When I do plays, I ALWAYS cry afterwards because I know that I wont be able to be that character and interact with the other characters that were like family members to me. The finales for both of the seasons were so jarring and incredible; the way the rug was pulled out from under me when just the darker and saddening reality of loneliness and rejection hit. Man. So good.
And the score by Amotz Plessnor really brought it together. Got some serious Eternal Sunshine and Amelie vibes there.

I just discovered Haters Back Off about a month ago and I was blown away! I go to the end of season 2 and wanted more. I watched the last two episodes of season 2 about 3 times. Colleen, you are a great actress. Super impressed with how well you conveyed tragedy, hurt and longing in just the last scene of the last episode of season 2. Thanks for doing Haters Back Off.
Girl... I 110% understand those tears. I get so involved into my shows that I *just* watch that I cry when seasons or characters end. And I cry when there is a show cancellation. I can't imagine how heartbreaking it is on the opposite end. You are an amazing woman. Dont let this stop you from your other dreams. :)
I literally just want to give you a hug. I’m not going to say I understand because I don’t. But I have been through similar experiences. I do musical theater at my school and there have been shows that I have been in where I just fall in love with all of the characters and all of the people I am in the show with. And when it’s over I feel heartbroken. It sucks. Colleen, you are so incredibly talented. I have been watching your channels for forever. I have seen you grow in such a fantastic way. I totally understand the way you feel. As a theater performer, every time I put on a show, the characters and the story get absorbed into your soul. Even on closing night, when you know you aren’t going to get to work with the same people ever again, it still feels like someone smashing a hammer through your heart. I know that you think you sound crazy, but everything you described sounds exactly like live theater. Love you much ❤️❤️

As a writer I get the love of your characters you've lived with and shared, when they don't get to keep living their lives, it changes yours. I'm so sorry, but glad you were able to have such an epic chance at this and know you put your heart into it. Keep moving forward, because you are brilliant. Your journey is so far from over. You're a beautiful person and your talent and your effort will lift you up time and time again. Ability will win out.

This isn't crazy. As an actress and creator myself I completely understand where your coming from and I feel your pain in letting these characters and this storyline go. It's so hard putting your heart and soul into something.. seeing it finally come to life and then having to say goodbye. I've worked on characters for two years for example, when I finally finished filming and I had to let the characters go I cried my eyes out for weeks. I felt like apart of myself was missing and I didn't know what to do with myself. It sounds weird but it felt like someone had died. So I completely understand you. It's not something you can explain unless you experience it. I was so sad when I found out Haters Back Off wasn't getting a third season. I really will miss seeing the lives of these characters. I feel Netflix made a mistake on not taking it on for a third season. But I don't think you should give up. Take these characters and film your own web series... continue with the story. I commented half way through watching the video so I guess my web series comment is probably not relevant as I just got to the part where you said you can't do it.. it's not that easy and there's a lot of legal things behind it. I'd be interested to know more about the legal parts she skimmed over. It's too bad. I really liked the introduction of herself at the end of season two and from what she said about season three in this video, I think that building on that would have made an amazing season. Sad to see it go!
Colleen we know how you feel, not getting a season three was heartbreaking for all of us because we got so attached to these characters that we call family. We're here to support you no matter what rollercoaster we get on in life. These characters will be in your heart and so will our support.

This sucks, but Hates back off is the FIRST show on Netflix from a CZcamsr. 👏🏻 That's awesome. What I loved about the show was its stupidity. It knew what it was and I love when shows know what they are and don't try to be something else! 😄

Haters back off was such a funny, incredible and original show. I loved it sooo much. You can really tell that every last detail had thought, love and effort put into it. This story was phenomenal and extremely addictive to watch. Miranda made me laugh and cry. This show was an emotional roller coaster and I loved every second. This video made me cry. This show was a super amazing, wonderful, beautiful masterpiece and it’s obviously been worked very hard on. Colleen, you are a wonderful, inspirational, creative, hardworking, beautiful, smart person and I love you. Don’t ever give up. Even though you didn’t get a third season, you got a different blessing. Your baby I hope he/she brings you so much happiness and I know this child is going to be so loved. You are going to be an amazing mother and this child is going to have so much to look up to. And who knows what the future holds, anything is possible and it might still happen. Never lose hope. Even if this show has ended for good it will live forever in our hearts. I’m so glad that I know who you are and I get to watch you and your creations. You are a miracle of a woman. I finally got around to watching Haters Back Off, and I absolutely love it! I’m on the 3rd episode of the second season and I’m sad that I’m nearing the end of it! Hopefully one of these days, maybe, possibly, you will get renewed for a 3rd season!!
watched season 1 and 2 the last few days. can't tell you how many times the show had me cracking up. I don't think there was an episode that I wasn't giggling, literally the whole time. and alot of times i felt that i was responding to things on different levels too. as much as i laughed, there was something very deep that i was responding too. laughing and crying...?there were times when i felt pity for miranda, and wanted to stick up for her even when she was at her most ridiculous... which is such a feat.idk maybe i just find her endearing. i don't know, i am grateful to have seen it. i think it will be a cult classic. maybe some day we will get a season 3 but what we have is beautiful too. i very rarely rewatch things (like never) but this may be something i might watch again. Thanks Colleen for brightening our world with your art.

I hope you never give up on Miranda and hopefully someday soon we’ll all be blessed with more seasons. Haters Back Off is by far one of the funniest and most unique shows I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love it. I’ll binge watch both seasons all the time. Thank you for your vid.
