There’s a moment in the episode “The Show” that really smacks you in the face.
Bluey and Bingo are putting on a play for Chili as a Mother’s Day present, and the show is about how Chili and Bandit met and started their family. When the play comes to Chili getting pregnant with Bluey, the kids represent it with Bingo as Chili wearing a shirt with a blue balloon stuffed under it. However, due to the kids getting carried away with the “kicking” of the baby making them bounce off each other, the balloon pops. Cut to the parents: Chili’s smile fades and turns to a stony sort of expression, and Bandit reaches over and takes her hand.
A lot of the more grown-up viewers take this to mean that either Chili had a miscarriage before having Bluey (thus making her a rainbow baby), or it reminds Chili of/foreshadows Brandy’s infertility.

Okay so I literally started watching this video with saying "If they don't talk about 'The Show' and Chili's miscarriage then ima riot" and sure enough it wasn't even an honorable mention. I guess maybe because everything on this list is more straight forward and/or not as subtle about whatever subject it's tackling in the episode and idk if it's confirmed that that scene in 'The Show' us what we think it is, but I also think that it was meant for the right people to see and understand it. If others understand it, great. But if the people who have gone thru that awful experience get what that scene represents for them, then that's what really matters 💗

The bedroom episode also hint to miscarriage as Chili is seen trying not to cry and Bluey holds her hand.

Oh mercy, I was seeing if anyone mentioned this. The first time I ever saw this episode, I was sitting on the couch, watching with my little one, and that moment unexpectedly popped up. The hand grab and look in their (well animated) eyes probably only last 1-2 seconds but is so instantly recognizable and powerful if you know. I had tears streaming down my face and had to explain to a confused youngster that Bluey is a wonderful show for both kids and adults, and there are some things that she might not understand until she's older.

I'd like to point out that this show has such a unique way of portraying parents. Especially Chili. Chili has shown numerous times during the series that she likes to be by herself. She takes time for herself, takes walks by herself. And the show never portrays it as strange. Chili's allowed to be alone and not have it framed as though she's not motherly for it. Gives her such a nice and unique personality.

Idk if its a truma thing but im sure ill work out the reasoning it will just take time. I remember sitting on my bed lissening to memories by maroon five and rembering a memory. Ironic right
It was the end of primary school and we had just had our fun day and was on the bus back. Me and my bestie were resigning the lyrics and putting them into our lives. It hits me now that i was crying all night about that day ending. Our last this, our last that. Its only this year where i have started feeling sadness for everything ending.
This year grade 9 was the best year of my life so far. Sure i had days where i was sitting in the car perents screaming at each other about money and me keeping my head strait and not crying. Holding it in. Its gotten to the point that its just me and myself. Laughing at each other. Forcing myself to get up and work through my own feelings. I feel as though everyone around me knows whats going on its become so normal. But i never told a soul whats going on deep down. Its hard when the only person you can share to. My mum . Will get upset if i talk about how i feel.
My mother is not a mean soul never seen her lash out any me or my brother. Adults yes. But i remember a point in my life when the world went slient. I remember feeling so upset i had to run outside and gag. The day she told me the truth… will continue when im not crying lov u bluey!

I hope there's something good in store for her, even if it's adoption, surogacy or just finding peace with not ever having kids. It's heartbreakingly AWFUL to want a child so badly that it causes you physical pain..I was SO LUCKY to have had the money, the support and finally, the good fortune to have an amazing group helping me medically- I finally got my very own rainbow baby after SEVEN YEARS of trying, in March of 2021. The episode about bingo separation anxiety hits me so hard in the feels. Whenever I watch it I don't necessarily see a child going through separation anxiety but rather, the process of a child growing up. The part that stung my heart the most was when bingo looked at the sun and said "I'm a big girl now, I've got to go." My one and only child is getting ready to leave for college, And while I'm so happy that she's grown up to be so wise and mature, It breaks my heart that she won't be in my home for too much longer. Then I remember that no matter how big she gets I'll always be her mother, And she'll always need my love and occasionally my advice.

The thing that rang true to me about Army was that Jack, the kid who can't sit still, was most excited to be on sentry duty.
ADHD is, in my experience, a motivation game. So many things are demanded of you, and when your brain literally lacks the chemicals that allow you choose to sit still you upset a lot of parents and teachers who want you to sit still for their convenience.
But that's not the same thing as not being able to sit still.
Kids with ADHD don't goof off during fire drills, or when mom is sick, or when their friends are counting on them. And they pay attention when they're practicing soccer, and doing cool science experiments, and playing army.
People with ADHD aren't stupid. Being told to sit still in the car is stupid. They're just the only ones who don't put up with it.

Agreed. I've got the opinion that the name Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder doesn't actually fit what ADHD is. ADHD doesn't mean you can't pay attention; it's more accurate to say you can't regulate how much attention you're giving something. If it's something I'm not interested in, everything around me instantly becomes more appealing/more urgent/impossible to ignore. If I'm interested though, I'll start doing it and then all of a sudden it'll be eight hours later and I'll have forgotten to eat, drink or do anything but that one thing that's got my attention.

That same thing happened to me as an adult once. I was living with a friend at the time and somehow an injured bird got in the apartment. I was going to just bring the bird back outside but, my heart just wouldn't let me do it. I did a lot of searching on line about how to get the help of some wild life people to come help out. From the way I described the bird, the person I contacted told me it was still young and showing signs of being thirsty. They instructed me to go to the store and buy grapes and squeeze them, dripping little grape bits into the bird's mouth. We made an arrangement that I could put the little bird in a backpack with a small hand towel opened slightly to get the air in and leave the backpack outside my work and the person would come and get it. I did all that only to find a text after work that the bird had died in my backpack. It was just a common robbin, nothing exotic or extra beautiful. But it meant something to me. I know in my heart that I am not a perfect person but, I tried to save that baby bird and at least it's last hours were not spent hungry, thirsty or out in the wild. It's like Bluey said "Sometimes it's just out of our hands." I know one thing though, I won't forget that little robbin and that even as an adult taking care of even the smallest or possibly insignificant creatures still matters. I am glad I got to take care of that hurt little bird for a night because it shows compassion.

I'm exhausted and don't have the energy to play as hard as I'd like. I feel like a failure some days, but when my daughter tells me I'm the best, and how much she loves me it always make me ugly cry once I have a minute to myself. They understand so much more than we realize, I'm just happy they both know I'll always be there whenever they need me.

I have noticed in the past couple of weeks that a wide range of people from various ages enjoy this show, and I can see why. It not only can help younger viewers, but it can help parents as well. Even teens, saying this as one myself, it can help us learn or remember things that could help us through life. It’s truly an amazing show, and I love it.

My grandchildren love this show and so do I. We've all learned a great deal from watching it. I'm sad to say, the kids often say that they wish their daddy was more like Bluey's dad and didn't yell at their mom so much.
My favorite episode was the one where dad takes the kids to the pool because mom is taking too long to get ready. They have fun but keep realizing they forgot something at home like towels, sun screen and even snacks. When mom shows up later with everything they needed they realized how much she does and how hard she works to make sure they have everything they need wherever they go. That's every mom I've ever known, the unknown hero of the packed bag!

What makes extra sad about Copycat is how it is the only moment that shows representation of a budgerigar in Bluey. I just really wish that at some point, Bluey have more budgies appearing, ones that are alive and completely healthy. Considering that it takes place in Australia, it's made in Australia, and budgerigars are native to Australia. But still, Kudos for Bluey for discussing about death, albeit the creature that dies had to be one of my favorite birds. Bluey isn't the first show aimed at preschoolers that I saw that had an episode about death that had to be a budgie. That reward has to go to Arthur.
