In my estimation, he is the greatest footballer of all time. He could do anything with the ball. At 16 he broke into the Hearts of Oak team. He made Peter Lamptey, goal king! Defenders were scared of him (ask Dan Oppong).

I remember Polo at Tamale vs RTU. They almost killed him. He came to Russian Bungalow 3rd road, house number 7 that is when I saw him. Very humble man, I was 8 or 9 years old. I gave him a big hug, never forget about it.

Poloo is right Chiesa of Italien national team father was a footballer, Kluivert's son plays for AS Roma, Maldini's son plays for AC Milan, Weah's son plays for Lille. All those play football and are trying to keep their fathers legacy to sustain the family name.

It is a shame we can not produce players like these two legends in that studio and other more players the came to past . And the reason why is that , we have neglected the coast league that we used to have before. And until the GFA address that issue our football will continue to sink .

Though Tony is no longer playing football His legacy still remains at and is contributing money to the tourism industry of the country that advertise him till date, but his don’t know how to do likewise. We could build a Black Stars museum with sculptured statues of these legends with their biography, videos etc …., this same edifice can generate money for these legends to cater for them …., food for thought

Amazingly, most of Ghana's soccer heroes are left-footed. But it's a shame that a whole GBC doesn't have an archive of its own people. If you search for Abedi Pele, who retired not that long ago, there are just a handful of blurry videos of him playing.

Aaahh Ghana, so all the rumors we heard about the division in camp during the 1992 afcon were true. We shot ourselves in the foot for making Tony Baffoe the captain. My question is why did he accept the captainship when he knew very well that there were senior players in the team before he joined. He threw Yeboah under the bus and he went ahead to miss the penalty that made Ivory Coast champions.Karma is a bitch.

Hmmmmmm I hope not just upcoming footballers and everyone watching this show will take something out of this. Neither Polo or Tony mentioned any Prophet, their determination, hardwork, meekness and humbleness has make them legend. I never heard Polo or Tony insulting any leader or adult due to what they went through, but rather kept their head above the waters.
So Captain Smart, I never new you can be very discipline talking and having fun like this, this is my first time watching you without sweating and towel, so don't you think you will command more and powerful respect if you can call the ones that you don,t agree with and interview them the same way you organized this show and am sure your program will be one of the best in the country instead of all these insults to leaders. If you want them to show leadership do the same. Am really impressed to see this side of you.
So seat down and think about it.

GFA should be disband. It's a useless organization with people who are in charge don't know their job description. This is what happens when you have people with favoritism in mind. Using the Black Star as a whole sale marketing place. A player like Jordan Ayew shouldn't even deserve to be call on to play for black star

Even the great Abedi Pele believes Mohammed Polo is or was the greatest. We have other soccer legends like Oseo Kofi and Abdul Razak, but Mohammed Polo's was the only player whose name and popularity cut across in all the 9 regions. He was so popular to the extent any young up and coming talented skillful footballer was named after him in Ghana.During that time,we had so many Polos like Takoradi Polo,Sunyani Polo,Tamale Polo,Kumasi Polo,Oda Polo,Cape Coast Polo,Winneba Polo,Wa Polo,Bolga Polo,Asamankese Polo,Suhum Polo,Aflao Polo,Jasikan Polo, etc etc....Ooh what a great footballer we had,no wonder he was tagged with so many accolades.Professor Polo,...'Ghana ma wo Ayekoo'.
