I was there for his Netflix special filming in March, and the warm-up guy before the show told the audience to release our inner American (cheer loudly, etc.). As I am American, it was no problem!

I rented a face mask for snorkeling in Hawaii. The previous time I'd done that, the man had guessed my prescription by looking at my glasses, so I took them off. However, this time, the lady asked me to read something on the sign on the wall. I asked her "What sign?" "Ooookay. Well, that tells me something too!" I put my glasses back on and I had been looking right at the sign. 🤓
One time my partner his 45 (!) year old loser friend (who was staying with us for a week) grabbed my glasses off my nose and hid them in the living room. It was 'funny' the first 5 minutes but after an hour i had a headache and was genuinely upset. I had to wait for my bf to come home from work just to be able to see more than a few inches ahead of me. That was 15 years ago and i still get a little miffed just thinking about it. Oh deary me...
@@rw4578 Oooh, I'd still be mad too. There's a certain age where they really ought to know better. Not cute, not funny. It's not that different from tying you up. You can't DO anything if you can't see. You can trip on things and run into things and hurt yourself. (And yes, folks, I know blind people function, but it takes a while to learn those skills.)
