Who is to say what situations you can take a photo of someone in public without asking? But this was an entertainment show that was a set-up! I suppose you have a problem with Candid Camera, What Would YOU Do, and other 'set-up" based tv shows?
Finally, ever consider that in almost all shows like this people are asked to sign a release or else that segment won't air. Think it goes by the name of the CYA clause!

Everyone needs to stop saying she’s obsessed with her phone, she took pictures and videos of things that were a once in a lifetime opportunity, but let’s be real, we would all film it because it wouldn’t happen in your everyday life, would it? Also maybe her parents are rich but so what? If they have the money to do that for her then good for them.
