Hamilton is a chess piece, or more accurately he’s the real life version of a user in madden. We’ve seen Madden style play slowly but surely infiltrate the nfl (usually about 5-10 years behind Madden play style), Hamilton is a player that covers every area of the field and thrives on roaming. Let him do him, he’s a generational player who’s going to change what we thought a safety could be

Agreed on the front 7’s, we have the third best in our division. On the DPOY front though I wouldn’t sleep on Madubuike having a run at it. If he builds on his season last year and throws in another 13-15 sack season, disrupts runs up the middle, and forces 2-3 fumbles he could be in the hunt. Not saying he’s on the level of Garrett or Watt, but he could put up the numbers

Just want to help you guys out with your diagram of the defense. The WLB should be a middle linebacker. Where you have the WLB should be our Rush LB. We are a hybrid Defense. That’s how the Ravens defense is labeled. Going from left to right:
( OLB ) Rush LB , WLB, MLB , & (OLB) SLB
Henry is just built different and that’s why he’s able to play at a high level at his age. Most RBs peak by 3 or 4 seasons but are washed by 5 or 6 if they make it that far. Still, to give Henry a heavy load beyond let’s say 230 carries wouldn’t be smart. You want to keep him fresh late in games when you want to grind clock. Not to mention the Ravens will have a ton of depth in the RB room. Oh and let’s not forget #8.

I think the biggest X factor in the NFL this year is the new kick-off rules. Justin Tucker might be studying, but I'd hate for him to have to be the tackler some 40% of the time - which is how it works out under these new rules. He's too valuable to play him like that.

In the base defense Travis Jones does play DE at times. The DE in a 3-4 plays the 3 tech or 4i, depending on the call. Anyone else find it troubling that our safety has the best pass rush moves on the team? He could put on 25-30 lbs and be the best player in the front seven.

I wouldn’t expect a veteran signing at corner or safety. While it’d be nice, the ravens really like Ardarius Washington and I believe he’s gonna get a shot.
If they bring in more defensive help I would rather they get Judon back if that’s even possible. Joe and Arod are back and they play some sneaky scramblers this season in Dak, Hurts and Daniels. They need to get after the QB.

I hope Lamar is working on the deep and how to spread the ball around and take what the defense gives him sometimes it would help out the whole offense a lot and I know everyone wants to give Zay a pass in the AFC championship game but he had more than one costly playing that game that potentially cost us the game
