I’d never think of using mayo in that way. In our house it is simply used as a table sauce.

Hi Victoria, my chicken, beef or pork always goes really stringy and woody in my slow cooker. I add liquid, follow the recipe and check after half the time. I wish it didn't. Do you have that issue? Thanks Kate.

I used Asda Diced Stewing steak for a recipe that was cooked in my morphy Richards slow cooker for 8 hrs snd it still wasn't tender. I found tbe Aldo Diced beef is better for slow cooker recipes.
