- Racing side by side is an important part of racecraft and something that takes a lot of skill to do properly without losing time. I hope this might help some people rethink their approach to driving through turns 2 wide.

Very good explained! Sadly a lot of race drivers have no idea that BOTH drivers in a side by side situation have to leave space for the opponent and that BOTH should keep their line. They just think, I'm slightly ahead, so it is my right to squeeze the other driver sideways of the track. But that crashes almost every time at least one driver.
Nice video. One other tip that I found helpful is to actually practice the lines you might have to take while overtaking/defending on your own before a race. So try taking a hairpin on the inside line, see where you have to brake to leave room on the outside etc...
