I just got one at a lard yard sale the new drills with plastic chucks and insides are junk, thats whybi picked this up metal chuck and i dont really care about brushless it honestly is a waste of money in my mind. The brushed tools when they went out u replaced the brushes and it was good to go, now when the drill goes out it goes in the trash.

The ring you forgot the first time. You placed it in wrong. It should be on top of the small gears.

Hey mate! Have you thought of how much money you could be saving doing this? I think its fantastic! =D Hence why I do it too haha Oh and I think Ive sold the Grey BMX Bike of mine tomorrow aha
So far I've fixed loads of free makita tools a free tv then sold on for a £50 profit and a free smart speaker dock I'm keeping. All fixed and restored.
I will be selling on a lot of the tools aswell
