I am in a wheelchair and am Diabetic. I watch my diet, and exercise. I use to weigh 350 pounds and now 225 pounds. If someone in a wheelchair can loose weight so can an able bodied person

Some people are overweight for other reasons such as thyroid problems or as a result of being on antipsychotics.
This drug could potentially save money and time for the NHS as obesity causes so many secondary illnesses. Also, it will stop the need for surgical intervention which frees up time and money for the NHS.

@@pallascat1743 I would suggest these are in the minority.
Over 70 million adults in U.S. are obese (35 million men and 35 million women). 99 million are overweight (45 million women and 54 million men).
But my advice for them would be the same. Eat a healthy diet.

Being fat is a lifestyle choice, this is coming from a former fat person.
Every able bodied person can walk for an hour a day, no excuses.

Wegovy and Mounjaro aren't "viral weight loss solutions", but anti-obesity medications designed to treat obesity long term. Nothing wrong with that. It is their primary purpose.
