I can see how Gulzar saab badly miss pancham. I almost cried at 2.08. The way he explained about panchamda that even after having so much impatience in pancham, his music reflects peace, maturity and what not. There cannot be another Pancham, another Gulzaar and another Kishorda. That magic is gone. Now only can we replay that magic.
It becomes so enthralling when we have a glance at the yesteryears , those growing up moments - the thrills, the enjoyments, the sadness, the melancholy feelings, the heart breakings, the engagements, the joyfulness, the solace, the lonliness & going through different shades & moments of the journey, somewhere we identify ourselves with the tunes of R D Burman - one can easily feel the emotion , be it good or bad , be it in the ups & down , that at some point the melody , the tune , the composition has synchronised with the state that one is going through - isn't this amazing !!!!!!! Probably only R D Burman had that exquisite quality & ability to tenderly touch the feelings in whatever state that one is going through - just mesmerising.
It is a fact that RDs music was not the same after Kishore’s departure and Gulzars songs and films faced the same after RDBs death. But the treasures they left us with continue to weave their magic to this day
