- This is Pickles. Pickles is a 13 year old Lineolated Parakeet also known as The Barred Parakeet, Katherines Parakeet or The Linnie. Her Partner Nugget passed away a few months ago and her other Linnie friends passed away previously. She is the only Linnie that I have right now. Pickles has 2 close friends that are not linnies and all the other birds in the bird room that she hangs around with.

My pleasure
Such a happy and smart one~💞
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
I love the yellow on Pickle’s face! So sweet! You know, I LOVE Linnies! Glad she has budgie friends now😊
Me too!! I am so happy she has a friend.
@@Loveofpets it’s the best feeling!
Absolutely, pickles is a very happy girl, and a lucky bird to have you ❤️
Linnies are such sweet little birds ❤ I have a male that is very skittish to human contact because he was never a pet, just a breeder bird in his past home. He has been with me a year now and is coming around at his own pace. He is a darling though, regardless of not letting me get too close to him. I love his little sounds
That is awesome!
My budgie is chirping after hearing this video❤
My heart is full now! Beautiful!
Nice to see Pickles with her friends ...sweet
I love pickles! Sooo cute!
She is pretty, and I want to get 2 linnies.
They are nice birds to have.
preening Pickle' butt eh? My lovebirds preen each other but never at each other's butt, lol!
Linnies are so sweet 💚
Pickles is so nice and so are her friends; Glitter and Splash. This video is such a pleasure and great to see in starting off 2023. Once again, when the birds started chirping, I turned up the volume and then my budgies chirped in also. Keep the videos coming. 😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have a Linnie that is 11 and 1/2 years old. She lost her Linnie friend a couple of years ago and now has a Budgie friend too. She looks just like Pickles and is starting to get some yellow feathers too.
Nice! It's nice that they can be friends with other birds.
So cute 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Too cute Happy new year God bless ❤❤
Happy new year!!
sweet girl ❤
My Linnie Emmy says hi pickles. She's so loud right now. She's still a baby at 2 yrs old.
Pickles says hi Emmy!
Linnies are adorable! I sadly only last a couple of weeks with mine before having to return him to the breeder because I couldn't cope with his sudden shrieking in my ear. He was happy to be reunited with his brother, though, so perhaps that was the issue.
Some Linnies have a very loud call and perhaps he was calling for others of his own kind.
@@Loveofpets I think so. I would have tried two if I'd had more room, but already had 5 budgies in the same room. He's happily with a flock of his own species now.
❤❤❤
Question I have a single Ring Eyed lovebird I want to bond with me I spend all day with it and am not too busy for it so is it ok I keep it alone.
I plan to have a pair of Linnies and a pair of Budgies in two cages. Is it better to start with the Linnies as they are softer and then add the Budgies? And is it the best to stay with all males or is it as good to have two male Budgies and a female/male pair of Linnies? Thank you in advance for your answer😊
You could get the Linnies first and then introduce the budgies but it might make no difference.
All males is best unless you want to breed. Budgies can be bullies and it's best to supervise them when out together.
Is there a way I could reach you privately concerning my birds?
Hi, you can message me on Instagram or Facebook. The links are in my video descriptions. It may take a while to answer your questions but I will answer.
I have a female lineolated parakeet she is nearly 2 years old. She has just laid an egg and I wanted advice as to whether I should remove the egg or not? If you could give me any advice about lineolated parakeets it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, if she is laying on the egg do not remove it. Let her lay on it until she tires. She may lay 4 to 6 eggs.
If you remove the egg she may lay more to replace it.
Hi, Thanks for answering. She has just laid another egg today.
