I have the diamond park 15 & 30 and use them with with either the rapide sl 25/78 or the boundary deluxe 30/78.
In my infinite wisdom i thought the Lost ranger 3n1 ul would be the perfect setup being lighter and packing down real small.
The outer is great to about 30 deg, then the inner bag comes into play or both (3n1)
Thats where my relationship with the lost ranger ended, getting back in a mummy bag drove me mad and ruined the experience that I'd got used to with the park setup.
So I've sold the lost ranger and gone back to a heavier bulkier setup - in reality the weight and size difference is absolutely nothing for the pleasure and comfort the Diamond park brings. Any one of these three bags fit into an event eVac 13ltr comp sack and squash down in various degrees to fit nicely in my saddlebags 😎

I have about 15 sleeping bags from many different companies over the years including different air pads … if i want pure comfort i always reach for the big Agnes horn -0 and insulated air pad core sleep system i use it for bikepacking … only down side is they use 650 power fill i wish they made them in 950 power fill that way it compress better i wouldn’t care about paying more i can fit in sea to summit event bag small medium large bag no problem … hows the sea to summit tent review in the rain test coming on cheers
I use a mummy bag, and dont have much of an issue as I am a back sleeper. BUT...
The hood is pretty small.
- I always have to have it over my head.
- Secondly, my pillow will not fit inside and it has to be under the sleeping bag's hood. I can compress the hood, and sleep on it, but it may feel as if I'm falling off my pillow in this case.
Wondering if the hood can lay flat and not have to be over my head.
The hood on these BA sleeping bags is VERY generous! We are stomach-sleepers and have plenty of room to nestle our arms and elbows into the hood underneath our pillows. Best sleeping bags we've ever found!!!
