- After tearing its way through the Caribbean Sea, Hurricane Beryl made landfall as a Category 2 hurricane Friday morning near Tulum, Mexico. It has since weakened to a Category 1 storm as it makes its way to the Gulf of Mexico and eventually the Gulf Coast. FOX 26's Mike Iscovitz has the latest forecast and track.
Please Lord don’t allow this storm to come to Houston …we still recovering from the tornado NO MORE natural disasters here for a while!

I'm tired of seeing these meteorologist down play the strength these things can get to and how fast. Theyre always like the water temp isnt that hot in the gulf of mexico. Stfu its hot as hell. Almost every hurricane they forecast ends up being 1 to 2 categories higher.
And you went to school for this or did you learn how to be a meteorologist on CZcams?

They don't expect the Cat 3 or 4 size. It will be a surprise as it grows very fast and builds as it slowly reforms. It will blossom fast today. It will amaze them with buildup again. It will hit north of Corpus Christi.
It is almost the exact same track that Harvey took in 2017. That Gulf water is really warm. I am expecting it to explode in power.
