Dublin To Ballinasloe by horse and carriage

This group calls themselves “driving for a better future” and are fundraising for Beaumont hospital. They left Dublin on Monday and arrived in Athlone last night. This morning there are on the last leg of their journey from Athlone to Ballinasloe for the annual October fair. Best of luck.

My father grew up in Athlone but spent many summers in Ballinasloe as it’s where his mother grew up she was a Mehar and of the Clarke background
