I hate the ‘just stop eating’ part that people usually say. Because a person’s only way to get nutrients, all the vitamins, minerals etc is from the food. If you don’t eat or barely eat, you literally harm your health too. And a lot of “healthy food” has lots of calories (nuts, for instance). I’m thin af in everything except for belly, which is the only place in my whole body where the fat goes. And, you know, I can’t ‘just stop eating’, because I don’t need my muscles to ‘dissolve’ further. I only need the fat to go away from the belly, but it’s not possible to do with/without food. Regular gym is required. And that’s already more complicated than ‘just stop eating’
“Just stop eating” is bad advice but what people actually mean when they say that is eat less calories. You can get all the necessary nutrients you need in a day and remain in a deficit at the same time.
