Massive talks about Gears 6 and its CURRENT state of Development!

- I have been a massive gears fan since the very first day the game released. Day 0. And this series has revolutionized the gaming industry that gore and beauty can go hand in hand to make an amazing game. And this timing feels well placed to re-vitalize the fan base, gain some hype and get people talking for a big reveal in 2025 for the 2026 release. Giving the team at coalition a full 2 more years to develop the game. That's with hope that they have been working on it at any capacity.
Gears is a great series and cannot wait to see the capstone for the second and probably last entry we might ever see for Gears.

Only if it was done with the same love would that be acceptable imo tho. A reboot would most likely mean new voice actors. And everyone in gears is so iconic it could make or break that reboot. Just my opinion tho!!

Im happy to see that some kind of news is out about Gears 6, but man thats quite a lot of xbox showcases that this franchise missed that couldve really filled the gap for xbox.
Tell me about it. Hearing just this little bit of news coming from people in the industry is nice. Hopefully the people who they’re hearing this from aren’t just talking to talk. Gears being on hiatus this long is wild. BUT if the game releases and is good… that’s well worth the wait.

Honestly I’ll say it, I loved the first three games. But you know what, gears 4 and 5 looked and felt even better. Awesome gameplay, but god damn did they shuck the schill in 5. Gonna be hard to walk it back if Del’s death isn’t cannon. Because JD dying is just mediocre writing.
I’ll be for real. I didn’t like 4 till 5 came out. They were both okay imo. Loved the MP overall but the stories never sat well with me. If the OG games had the polish of 4 and 5 tho. That would of been sickkk.
I want them to be a bit more grungy tho. The bright colors and everything made the game look a little too cartoonish. And yeah, Del dying needs to be cannon. He wasn’t a fantastic character and JD was finally getting somewhat interesting with all his battle wounds and such.
Going to need to find some people to game with. definitely want to get heavy into Multiplayer with gears 6 but being a solo player only gets you so far.
Yeah I was running matches last night solo and it was fun but still not quite up to what it was back in the prime of the games life

Loved the first three. Even enjoy the last gears of war game... But the 1 gears game... Nop, in fact big nop. I guess the 2 gears game is going to be woke as fugg and filled with micro transactions and some MS greed.😅
Same. The first three were outstanding. 4 and 5 were just okay. Don’t have the same spirit as the initial 3. MP was fun tho.
