I used to be a mobile player until I got a my very first console, ps4 pro, in February. It’s the best change ever, because as a veteran mobile player, I can tell you that that industry is going nowhere as long as the developers treat it as second-rate.

I respect both consoles, considering I own an Xbox One S, but I've had the chance to play on PC, and let me just say that PS4 and Xbox One do not compare. However, you can play Xbox games on PC if you have Windows 10 installed and if you are using the same Microsoft account on Xbox as well as PC, the games you own will be purchased already on your PC, free of charge, or you might have a Steam account, so that's also great. Also, assuming you have a decent or great build, you can at least hit 1440p at 60fps on high settings when playing games, or if you have a high end PC build, 4k at 120fps on high settings, or more. You can also connect Xbox One and Logitech controllers, so if you prefer Controllers over Mouse and Keyboard, then you are still good. And depending on the price you can get decent gaming. Right now on Amazon, you can buy a Dell Optiplex 990 for $170 and free shipping. This is the perfect beginner PC, coming directly to you with an Intel core i5 processor with integrates graphics, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD, and a 250 watt Power Supply. There really isn't much to upgrade, except Graphics card, maybe a GT 750ti, probably ranging up to $170. As for the Power Supply, maybe up to 400 watts, which even still isn't necessary, as the Power Supply is said to be very reliable and efficient. Even without upgrades, you can manage 1080p at 50fps with high settings at most, which is still passable for the average gamer. Sorry about my quick rant, but if you still prefer Console, I completely respect that.

However, the investment one makes in buying games and/or upgrading hardware can be a big deal breaker for those who want the best experience.

Hi. You missed one very important factor, and that is the backward compatibility of Xbox One X, that makes it accessible to a huge library of games from previous versions of Xbox and it is a huge plus point for it. BTW thanks for a wonderful review.

When it comes to choosing which console for me the main thing I look at is the graphics and kind of games for it. I got my PS4 slim back in May of last year and at the time I was looking at both PS4 and Xbox consoles. But I decided to get the PS4 cause it had a lot more games I like compare to Xbox.

You forgot to mention you can use the Konnect for the X Box One S and One X. For one like if you want use the X Box Konnect to use for the either of X Boxes, there is a kit you have to get to connect it to the consoles to use the X Box Konnect.

If you are able to afford it, Xbox One X is good to get the best graphics out of all multiplatform games as well as their few exclusive worth playing. PS4 Pro is good for having the best way to experience all the amazing Sony exclusives. This is personally what I did. I was gonna get a gaming PC, but decided to get a PS4 Pro (for $400) and an Xbox One X (for $400 with some games, got a good deal on it) and it ended up being quite a bit cheaper than buying the gaming PC I was wanting. Plus, I got access to a lot more games I was interested in. Also, most of my friends are on Xbox lol.

I have both and I do enjoy the PS4 games catalog, but The Xbox One controller is far superior for me personally. I can play with the Xbox without problems, but the PS4 controller makes my hands cramp so bad...I work on a computer all day so I can't really have that happen. So they're both good, just depends what works for you.

I used to have ps4 and now i have xbox, they both are great but there’s something about xbox that is a bit weird, when you want to install a new game it takes a lot of time to install (maybe 40 min or more it depends on the size). Although in ps4 the installation was less than a minute.

I personally don't care for their exclusives. All of the games I have interest in are multi platform.

@@masonfrank931 well it depends on the games, and what it needs. some games are better on ps4 or some better on the xbox one, so maybe the games should be crossed out. lets focus on the hardware itself on the consoles.
@@theshycryo ps4 has exclusives for almost all games, like mw and every other recent cod. I'm pretty sure Gta v had an exclusive for awhile too
You forgot to mention if there is backwards compatibility between the two consoles. XBox One S and One X does have backwards comparability to use games from there previous systems while PS4, PS4 PRO, and PS4 SLIM does not have it.
PS4 (slim) is better with exclusive games and easier to get into.

@@jrob0021 Can always buy a battery pack still last a lot longer than the PS4 controller plus when the battery shits it self on the PS4 controller there's not many good third party replacement that perform well.....
You can get a charge and play kit for Xbox controllers like Microsoft, PowerA and that brand I forget alot where they made 2 when one runs out u get another

Even though The PS5 & Xbox Series X comes out next year (Which I will be buying) I still bought a PS4 PRO & Xbox One X last month because the games that are coming out next year are going to be crazy and I want to get the best experience
I personally like the 4K on the Xbox and the Xbox controller I have always been a huge Xbox fan but lately they just seem to be repeating the same games none stop. There are so many halo and call of duty it’s getting annoying.
Ps4- I probably would have liked it but didn’t like the feel of the controller plus every time I logged on it always needed an update which took forever. If I could watch 4K movies on the ps4 and if they make there controller a bit similar to Xbox then ya I most definitely would switch over but for now sticking with Xbox.
I have and use both. The X is more powerful than the Pro but Ps4 has a lot better original titles.

most people do, the ones that argue are the vocal minority that exist on youtube, the 90+ million strong portion of the PS4 consumer base just bought what they saw the best games were on & don't care what other people say.

Both are great systems, for me however, my PS4 got played way more this generation cycle than my One. Don't get me wrong, I put some good hours on some good games on the One (Dead Rising 2 and 3, Gears 4 and 5, Forza Horizon 3, MHW and a few more) but the PS4 imo had the better overall selection of games. Xbox 360 beat PS3 but PS4 beat the Xbox One. Just how I look at it, doesn't take anything away from either system. Both are great consoles.
