You make a great point. PS4 PRO has a better price and more exclusives while Xbox One X has better performing third party games, backwards compatible added basically every week and good online. I play a lot of third party games so the One X is my thing but I will be getting a PS4 Pro for some of those other games like Dragon Quest XI and Ni No Kuni 2.

The PS4 has better exclusives, even though some of the early ones were nothing but remasters. Xbox one X is a overall better system to me.
I have both the Pro as well as the X. I will play an exclusive on the PS4, if it's something I am interested in. But for everything else (which let's be absolutely honest here, this is what sells the best and most of us gamers will buy), multiplatform games are being played on my Xbox one X. Not just for the graphics (which is a serious factor), but the online gameplay is another and doesn't go down as nearly as often.
And out of general curiosity, when did graphics not matter in this generation? I remember seeing many comparisons of 900p Xbox one versus 1080p PS4. And now people don't care about the graphics? Didn't people buy a PS4 for the graphics, or was Knack that compelling of a game that people had to throw $400 at Sony for it?
The "best graphics on X" is an objectively false statement. Older games like Watch Dogs 2, Arkham Knight, MGS V run at 900p on the X. Ps4 used to be the more powerful console before, so older titles run better on Pro. Many newer games like Sekiro, Ace Combat 7 have worse framerates on X. I'd rather buy a console which focuses on games and VR with decent performance.
I own a ps4 pro and i'm getting the xbox one x as it has better specs, better customer support via cross platform and backwards compatibility. I will still have my ps4 pro for the exclusives but to say the ps4 pro is the better console is ignorant as they both have the pros and cons, it's a fact ps4 pro has better exclusives and it's also a fact that xbox one x is the most powerful console. You can't argue with that comparison.
How exactly you utilize that better raw power if there are way less attractive games/exclusives to play on? We buy consoles to play Games.

😂😂😂 someone didn’t learn from the previous gen.🤷 ps3 was to the 360 what the one x was said to be to the ps4 pro. How did that work out? Most 3rd party games ended up running better on the 360 than the more powerful ps3. Just because it’s more powerful doesn’t mean developers will take full advantage of the machines capabilities, people cut corners and chose the easiest routes like water chooses the easiest path around rocks.
When games are 3rd party the weaker console usually holds back the game, same problem this gen with cross gen games. Developers have to make it so the games can run on the weaker machines so you get a game that never maximised its full potential. Unlike games like ratchet and clank ps5 which is a true current gen title, unable to run on last gen’s machines.

You missed something on the xbox. If you have gold you could get 2 games on xbox one and 1 xbox 360 game for free. And you forgot about the game pass. That is a really good subscription. You could download over 100 game for free and for you first time buying it, you could get it for 3 months for 1 dollar

PS4 Pro has all of those as well, with 4K playback etc. Unless you're using it for a 4K disc player, Xbox One X is a waste.
Xbox 1 X is a better console but it doesn't have decent exclusive games and it's more expensive.
If you are in Portugal like me PS4 rules because if you like to buy your games in a store you can barely find a game for Xbox while PS4 is allways full.
I respect the quality of Microsoft with their console but Sony wins here because even if they don't have yet a console better than their rival they still have exclusives Xbox can only dream to have and winds of change are coming because by the end of this year PS5 is there.

May personal experience makes me side with Xbox no questions considering I want to actually play games and not feel like I bought a run down old car with a really nice new body on it PlayStation has long since made there consoles fragile and not just physically internally they in my experience break down and don't work or there internal ui and system make it seem like unnecessary system failure is normal. Why PlayStation? Can't they be made with care and consideration and why stop and slack after your first console it was the only one I have known to run and not have these issues. Also I have yet to see how the ps pro is so hopefully it isn't the same for PlayStation fan sake. Brain washed thinking it's normal with all those issues. You haven't seen both sides in action so WHY 😭😭😭😭 and to be clear PlayStation 2 only had physical issues considering I did have a lot of fun it still was worth it but in the end proven fragile simply put the eye disk scanners would degenerate forcing you to open the whole thing up to clean it over and over till it just quits on you. then they slack more and now it's the system loading things if you unplug at the wrong time or bump it goes in safe mode. Bringing you one step closer to wipeing all your save data. They the only Xbox I ever got was a Xbox 360 slim and the power cord failed before the system even showed sine of ageing after a decade.

The thing that you don't put in mind is which console will shine in future and the answer is Xbox one x just imagine how the ps4 will struggle to launch future games for example gta 6 due to it's hard ware but the Xbox one x will stand up for that.

If you have a good 4k HDR Oled/led tv and are wondering which to pick up the X is your best bet in the long run for that 4k console experience if you don't have the money to do 4k 60 with a gtx 1080. Just wait for the ps4 pro price drop it will be $350 or lower.

As someone who is blessed to own both, the Xbox One X has noticeably better graphics than the PS4 Pro’s. Is that to say the PS4 Pro is bad? Absolutely not. However, if you are looking for the system in which games look the best, you should undoubtedly go with the Xbox One X.
In my view, an upgrade from the OG Xbox One or One S to the Xbox One X is absolutely worth it. However, the jump from the OG PS4 to the PS4 Pro was definitely not worth it, in my view. I barely noticed a difference. I could immediately notice a difference in graphics as soon as I got my One X.
If you do not own one of the current gen systems and are currently looking into getting a PS4 or Xbox One, I would personally go with their more powerful variants if you don’t mind spending a little extra. I know money is tight though, so you definitely couldn’t go wrong the older versions, since they still play the same games. All of them are solid systems and if you love video games, you’ll have a lot of fun!
P.S. I totally didn’t mean to make a review/buyers guide, but I just started typing and I guess that’s what I did XD

You can just get a ps plus subscription for just one month and after that has expired you can play anything online. On xbox after your Xbox live has expired you have to buy another subscription or you can’t play any games online

Xbox only real exclusives are Gears, Forza and Halo, which the biggest part of gamers don't care about, or get for free via Gamepass. I had a One X but got bored of it quickly, sure 3rd party titles that are enhanced look fantastic. That being said the Ps4 Pro has SO much more, and the same great 3rd party games to boot. I mean the Uncharted games, Bloodborne, God Of War, Rachet and Clank, Horizion Zero Dawn (soon Forbidden West), Until Dawn and a lot more. So why limit yourself? Way more bang for the buck with Sony. Also most PS5 games are also on the Pro for now, and probably for another year or so. What does Xbox really HAVE when you get down to it, that's any sort of MUST HAVE game? Also nearly 118 million PS4's sold since 2013, and fairly close to maybe 50 million Xbox Ones? That's not a war, that's a massacre!

like bethesda and now playstation games like mlb the show 21 is now on xbox, xcloud is there and even emulation of playing playstation 1 and 2 that sony doesnt offer and the xbox one x will get all the future games till 2024 or 2025 so it would be wise to get it now and save up for the xbox series s/x in 2024 or 2025
