Where’s the Bible verse for purgatory, confession to other man, worshiping of idols etc???

There are many verses that speak clearly on these topics.
Before I share them though it's important to clarify we in Hopeful Disasters are a group of people that love the word of God, and though we all have our own personal denominations, this channel does not seek to promote any one doctrine aside from what is clearly explained in scripture. We would like to point everyone to the authority of Scripture alone.
We are not a catholic organization, however many of our posts are an attempt to discuss and maybe answer some questions people have directly asked us. Often we are blessed to be asked about matters that pertain to the catholic practices like Eucharis, communion, Mary etc. All we aim to do is point people to the word of God, remind all of their need for God, His plan of salvation through the completed work of Jesus on the cross, and let God teach us and anyone else alike.
There are no scriptures to support purgatory being a real place.
James 5:16 clearly says, “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.”
There are many places in the old and new Testament where God encourages even commands us to be open and honest about our sin, so that we can move away from it and be held accountable. This, however, is not necessary for salvation. It is a practice that keeps us knit together in community and is part of our sanctification - addressing sin patterns and repenting of them
The first commandment in exodus 20:3-4 clearly states that we should not worship idols or anything but God.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God,
