Recently a priest told me a story about the life of St. Francis. One day when Francis was gardening his brothers came up to him and asked him what would he do if he knew that the end was near and that our lord would return at any moment. St. Francis after thinking for a moment, replied, "I would keep gardening".
I'm not 100% sure this is true but the message was very impactful for me. We know not the day or the hour, so just keep gardening.

Some parts yes, but they are intertwined with fallacies to the degree.
Even the 'title' Holy Father is for God Himself. And not for the mere religious man.
About the Mary, may we all follow her example in chastity and holiness but heaven forbid we give her any worship equal to God.
Also it's the Yeshua that not only crushes Satan but does it with the Word out of His mouth - coming on the clouds of glory.

To be honest, I think it's the opposite - the end may or may not be near, but we should live as vigilant a Christian life as possible, convert our hearts and listen to the Gospel, as if it was certain the end is going to be any day now. That's how the Apostles and the early Church took it and I think that's the best way we can take it. Memento Mori!

When God speaks of confounding the wise this is in relation to the Blessed Virgin, she is the Ark of the new covenant and found by humble souls, the treasure we find when we seek. Jesus told us he would send us the paraclete who has revealed Divine truths and mysteries through the church and saints over 2000 years bit by bit. We would not be left as orphans, we have Our Lady and Saint Joseph, our spiritual mother and father. I abandoned the faith most of my life and through the mother of God had a miraculous conversion. That’s not really true. Just as Jesus gives the apostles and first Christians ways to know when the Romans would sack Jerusalem and the Temple in the Gospel of Matthew, he also gave us general signs to know when the end days were upon us. The first Christians kept Jesus’ word and when they saw “foreign armies” surrounding Jerusalem and the abomination of desolation in the temple, they fled. Not a single Christian perished to the Romans, or so Eusebius tells us. No, we cannot know the exact hour and minute when Jesus is coming. But we can have a general idea that He may be coming soon based on our being aware of what’s going on around us.

So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samar′ia and to the end of the earth.”
      Acts 1:6-8
the when and how are not our main concern. ours is to help restore the Kingdom of God, and we, each and every one of us, you and I, are already doing it. it had already started 2,000 years ago after Jesus' resurrection.
every generation think they are living in the end times. this kind of preoccupation can become a dangerous and unhealthy obsession. just look at how many suicide cults this kind of obsession has created.

What Dr. Martin said about the Holy Scriptures is so essential. It is the verses of the Bible that are clear that we are not obeying that closely that we should be more concerned about. For instance, Jesus said, "Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9: 23 NRSV Catholic Ed.). There in Luke 9: 23 is the message of self-denial on a daily basis, which the great saints through the centuries exemplified to us. Are we taking up our cross and following Jesus daily? Not on occasions of special emphasis, but every single day? That is a powerful verse to get right in our lives as authentic followers of Christ.

While I agree we shouldn't orientate our lives around end time prophecies I do believe it's helpful to discern the signs of the times, if even to give us some sense of urgency in making our own lives more holy and helping our neighbour. I'm going to be honest, I'm gobsmacked at events over the last few years. The state of the world today is something I never thought would come about just a few years ago, the reason i feel it won't get better without divine intervention is the mass rejection of God. At least after WW2, the worst conflict in history western nations were for the most part influenced by the Christian world-view and Church attendance was high. They rebuilt society with Christ in their heart. Today society can't even define what man is, to do so is heresy. How can there be a future under such insane ideologies?
Today belief in Christ has never been lower all over the western world. I myself believed with the renewal of the intellectual tradition of the Church which this channel has contributed to aswell as many other channels which gives a philosophical account for the existence of God this would help and perhaps reverse the new Atheism that was gripping society but something even worse has took hold. A new religion with new values and principles. One where to stand against it can open us up to severe persecution. Do you guys honestly think without divine intervention things will get better? I'd love it to. I'd love for man to realize before it's too late we can't build a civilization without God and attempting to do so leads to ruin. As Catholics we don't get the luxury of wallowing In despair as we attest to the fact that In the end there is only hope but it's still sad to see so many souls being lost. So MANY. We need to pray harder than ever.

We also need to realize that a lot of the problems today started (or at least were greatly ramped up) in the mid-1900s with people just acting immoral behind the scenes and it’s slowly degrading our souls in this society.
Especially considering how we started to connect more with paganism as well as communism (which is traditionally atheist). It is slowly degraded the morals we had in our society or the very least confused us because we don’t want to offend anyone. I really started seeing the shift in the 1800s as well but it started being applied to the masses in the 1900s. It just had to be slow so generations could not see it.

I am a Protestant, and I enjoy watching this show and Trint Horns. It is just sad to see cheap shots like the one we see at the 45-second mark where he speaks to the "fundamentalist protestants trying to count the day and hour from Daniel 9."
We can all use this way of talking to diminish the other side. For example, what if a Catholic came across a protestant channel and heard the conversations on some topic a Catholic disagrees with a begin like this. "We are all aware of the enumerable amount of evil the fundamentalist Catholics produced during the inquisition." It would burn down bridges more than build them.
I almost stopped listening to this interview, but this channel does not usually disparage protestants, so I continued to watch. I liked his overall message, and I thought he spoke well and made excellent points other than the Church going through the tribulation, but this is a minor disagreement. But he should consider how he frames his message and how it would affect those who may be willing to listen to what he says.

The point of the Reformation was because of the lingering and continuing problems the church had at the time. Since then both sides have made even bigger blunders.
Still at the core we believe the same things. That’s the important part. Just as someone else mentioned about getting solace and understanding from a Protestant sermon. I to have had similar experiences going during a mass at St Patrick’s in NYC. I’m an Elder in my church but that doesn’t forbid me from receiving a wonderful message by a Roman Catholic Priest. The River Euphrathes has been dry already. Remember Euphrathes first appear in Genesis as one of the four rivers.
Jesus is speaking of the Living Water as the Gospel.
In Revelation in the New Jerusalem the river that divided the city originates from the Throne of God.
In Genesis the river originates in Eden is coming from one headwater.
The Headwater is the Gospel and there are four synoptic Gospels .
The Euphrathes river drying up means the Gospel has not been preached in the area and East of it thus paving the way for the Battle of Good and Evil. It's the same Battle that Adam and Eve were fighting when they eat the Fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Because of radicalism, these Battle will manifest into the physical world.
Thus looking East of the Euphrathes river are billions of souls who haven't heard or understood the Gospel. Indeed the river runs dry in the area.
And the best weapon to wield in these Battle is the Holy Rosary which is the Gospel itself woven into prayers in its mysteries.

Its a rich story to tell how it simply happened) he fell ill & passed away. His wife happened to tell me, when I saw her, how he had been reading it as he was bed ridden befor he passed away. Am sorry, am still geting teary eyed right now, oh glory glory! 😇😭😇 thank u😇 for this opportunity to share this beautiful story.

Ralph hesitated at one point when he was wondering where the "period of peace" promised by Our Lady at Fatima would fit with the apparent end of time events we are living through. I wonder if we have had the period of peace : from 1946 (Hiroshima and Nagasaki) to 2003 (the Iraq war). That covers all my adult life in which I always assumed I was living in peaceful times of progress that included the fall of Communism. There were wars, but everything seemed solvable and we could always rely on the USA...

There has to be a world-wide illumination of conscience at some future point as an final act of mercy. This has been foretold by various Saints and mystics. A book named 'The Warning' deals with this and I would assume this period of peace would follow

That’s the problem with speculation. Mankind, especially Christians, keep looking to figure everything out instead of focusing on living a life of repentance and holiness to really prepare for the end times.

I respect these type of shows; however, too much attention and energy is dedicated on “the end of times” rather than evangelizing and focusing on the gospel. Please provide ideas and ways for people to start converting and preparing for a good confession, how to live Holy Mass, how to properly take Holy Communion, how to pray the Holy Rosary, how to read the Bible, how to consecrate oneself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, how to do an hour of adoration, how marriages should live and raise good Catholic children, how to live sex life within the marriage, etc; These topics will be of great help rather than instilling fear and creating more anxiety for people. We have so many confusion going on in the world and very little evangelization is happening.

My experience is that too little attention is dedicated to the "end of times" which by the way is very important part of the teachings of the Church since the beggining. To the point that many Catholics do not even know anything about the Second Coming and the Final Judgment and the Final Resurrection; doctrines all mentioned in the Apostolic and Nicene Creeds.

It's historical context too, Emperor Nero was considered the "Antichrist" when this prophecy was first written. The statistical likelihood of witnessing the literal heat-death of the known universe (caused by the Dragon Ball Z style showdown between Jesus and Satan) happening within the lifespan of the people born in the last 50 years, is still not great betting odds.

There is a ton of segregation, hatred, jealousy, envy, anger, destruction of property as well as destruction of humans, etc... and the USA is quickly catching up.
As for end times, no one will know. the end will come as a thief in the night... it will be as when in the days of Noah, before the flood much eating, drinking, celebrations. marriages before the end... and the end will be rapid according to Daniel 7 years long, but that time will seem unendingly dark and hopeless.... But when that will be? As you said about the Mayans... here's an interesting fact, Jesus is the Messiah, yet some, many, missed him.

Yes Nero was the first type of Anti Christ but St. John mentioned there will be many anti Christs.
For example there are tribulations in our own lives but John spoke of a Great Tribulation like Daniel a near end times prophet and an end times prophet as the Seal opens up.
The Son of perdition or Son of Lawlessness is an individual a political figure as the final false prophet is a religious figure.

Sometimes I think that the scriptures were altered or misunderstood and it was written that the end will come for each person individually. Everyone expires. So, maybe it was changed just a little to try and make more of an impact and to help control the people. Religion is a form of social control, for the good of course. I mean the scriptures did pass through many hands and was written and rewritten countless times. So maybe that's all the end refers to, our individual end. Just a thought.

    step2. Do my military service
Step3. Leave society and focus on theology, Philosophy, and solitude. Essentially become what one view said "A hermit"

Our faith is partly about community. You NEED others to see God. "Society" is an aspect of faith, and without it, you'll be misled. Your hate against other people is a wall put up in your heart by the devil, by evil. Learn to love before you decide to be a grumpy old grinch in the woods. "Faith, Hope, and Love" CANNOT be achieved alone. I know hermits that still rely on others, still rely on towns, villages, cities to live and survive, and to gather their prayer from. Your idea of being a hermit is completely deluded by anti-social elements that do NOT come from God. Conversion is not a step in a process. It is an act of love towards God. "Love God, and love your neighbor".

Honestly, from what I’ve archived from taking time off away from people, I’ve noticed that I am feeling much better. I’m not saying I hate, more like I just don’t want to associate with people or as little as possible. I’m not a rude person, in fact I’m many of my interactions at college, or in the world I’m never the aggressor. I only become the aggressor after someone aggressive to me myself.
I don’t see how me wanting to be alone to contemplate God or the various aspects of nature in the world we live in is bad. While I’m sure society can be one path to God, I was of the impression that again taking time out and being alone can be as well.
Like one said “silence can be one of the greatest ways to hear God”
