yup me too. I bought it on impulse in the shop because of the cover lol- i'd never heard of them, and i totally loved every song.
I get so caught up with Michael Kiske's incredible voice I sometimes miss out on the fact that drummer just KILLS it!
Ingo was a beast and the sound of his Sonor heavy bubinga set is simply magic.

Helloween was my introduction to sing songy powermetal as a kid and it blew my friggin mind when i first heard it!!!!.... i was instantly hooked and that was it, I just couldnt get enough of this style of music... This shit just oozes classical influence and flavor!!!!.... Oh hell yeah, I'll do shirts for you guys, that will be killer!!!!.... just lemme know the details like how many colors all stuff like that, the feel and style of art, lets have a blast doing this!!!!... I NEED fun stuff like this in my life again!!!, thanx guys!!!... Love you for it!!!!

If you guys want operatic, symphonic, experience you should listen to #Avantasia the metal opera and the Metal opera pt2. Michael Kiske ( singer in helloween) is one of the singers on there. They are concept album based on Tobias Sammet's (founder of Avantasia) knowledge and love of religion and fantasy. I think you'll both love it. All the best from Landskrona Sweden.
This album is a master piece. Lyrics, guitar, bass battery and everything else. Kiske's vocal is brutal. It's so nostalgic listening to this song and remembering life when my only problems were saving money to go to metal concerts and buying Halloween's cds.
Now you guys know where Dragonforce got their ideas 🤣

Bruce can still sing, Geof Tate can also sing but not that high anymore, Kiske can still the high notes!

You should do more Helloween! March of Time, Future World, I'm alive, Halloween...so many classics! or Unisonic - Exeptional, singer Kiske and guitarist Hansen from Helloweens newer band and if you do the Wacken 2016 live he can still sing your socks off at almost 50 years old, not alot of singers can keep the range intact at higher age.
What a great song. It's been a favorite since it came out not just for the music it's more personal then that. See my mom collected eagles and anything eagle related for as long as I can remember. The day she passed away my dad and brother saw an eagle at the cemetery. I've never seen an eagle at the cemetery when I visited her grave. 7 years after she died my brother and dad were in town and stopped by the cemetery and wouldn't you know there was an eagle. Later that night my dad passed away. That was almost 4 years ago and once again no eagles during my visits. Two weeks ago I was fired from my job after 9 years. I decided to swing by and visit my parents grave. For the first time ever I witnessed an eagle flying overhead. The next day I was offered a job and started yesterday. This song is what I needed today. Thanks.

This album was a good 15 years ahead of it's time. 'came out in 88 which may be one of the greatest years in metal period. It was a tough year to get noticed in, they were competing with Queensryche "Operation Mindcrime", Maiden's "Seventh Son", Metallica's "And Justice for All", Slayer "South of Heaven", Testament "The New Order", it goes on and on.
This was in my little boombox a lot and traveled all over Miami and surrounding environs with me. I knew it was special and ahead of it's time then not because I was that quick but because no one else wanted to hear it really, and I mean among a bunch of metal head kids. It just didn't catch with them despite the stellar quality of both the performance and the production.
First time I heared this song thought ''It's humanly impossible to go that high!''
And then I got to know Judas Priest 😂😂😂

Ha, It's so cool to watch these . I reminds me / takes me back to 1985 when I was stationed on Incirlik AFB Turkey for my first short tour. I was maybe 20 and experiencing most of the same music you are reviewing here for my first time. UFO, Ratt, Queensryche, MSG, Saxon, the rest of Maiden, etc and just getting my mind blown every other hour . I remember one time catching MSG's Attack of the Mad Axeman video ( basically just him doing the solos/song ) in the base BX TV demo display ( someone had snuck it in there and plugged it into a VHS player ) I WAS FUCKIN Hooked instantly ! MSG for life - UFO, Scorps, MSG, Temple of Rock , whatever - ALL OF IT.
