- In this video I show the steps required to fix a leaking oil pan in a 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 or the Lancer Evolution X GSR. It is pretty much the same thing on most cars, but a few things may vary. On the VR-4 for example, I have to remove the transfercase which is a pain, but this one is pretty straight forward. Personally, I think Permatex the right stuff is better than a pre-made gasket, in my experience those tend to leak a lot, and Mitsubishi uses this type of method from factory, they don't use pre-made oil pan gaskets.

Was it necessary to take the belt off?
I'm about to do this and I want to know if this an important step.
Bruh I can’t find no pan replacement of a lancer Gts why is it all evos only
You might have to go to the dealership for that one. I believe base lancer and Evo have the same oil pan for some reason, but the GTS is different
