Theft, vandalism plague Washington businesses and owners have had enough

- Lynnwood police are searching for a thief who stole more than a $1,000 in cash from a teen and his family at a local nonprofit earlier this week.
The theft was caught on camera, and the incident occurred in less than a minute at Bella’s Voice at 4001 198th Street SW in Lynnwood, which has two thrift stores for clothing and furniture.

A woman wielding a hammer in Tacoma during the weekend is was charged with criminal mischief, as she was accused of smashing 56 windows at more than a dozen businesses.
That woman, 47-year-old Tami Areson, is no stranger to police or prison in Washington. She is now held, pending the outcome of a mental health evaluation, to determine her competency to stand trial.

:23 Unfortunately this is a misguided attempt at advocacy by our governor. We are in King County but the same thing happens to us. We call 911 and sometimes the same day someone drives by the house that calls 911 and shoots at the house. I signed onto a recall for our governor only to have it thrown out by the secretary of state for lack of interest. Nobody has "had enough" and it shows in their actions. It doesn't matter how you vote because voter laws are ignored and nobody is willing to step up and remove anyone from office so get used to it. The public's actions prove to be different than the media claims.
Don't buy into the your vote doesn't matter BS. If everybody that felt that way voted, the state would change!

Very expensive areas, an hour from L.A. so beautiful weather, horse country, gorgeous greenery and trees, great (upscale) shopping and dining but none of the L.A. (or Seattle) headaches with homeless, crime, garbage and filth. Real beaches in Malibu with gorgeous sand, and WAVES, with swimmable water (unlike awful Alki beach). Again, Big bucks to live here, but I’ll be dead in 35 years, life is short!!

Why are times hard? There's historically low unemployment and the stock market it up.
