- Plenty can be learned about the history of our favourite brands from their previous logos. With Nintendo's old logo spurring a classic spade, a reference to their long forgotten playing card designing past. Or Nokia's Fish, referencing their beginnings as a farming company in the north of Finland, decades before the invention of phones.
In this video, we'll take a journey through the evolution of some of the biggest names in tech, including companies in TV, computers, smartphones, game consoles, and cameras. You'll be amazed at the changes that have occurred over the past century, from clunky, nostalgic logos to sleek, modern designs that are instantly recognizable.
We'll delve into the logos of Samsung, taking a closer look at their original red design and how it transformed into the blue and white logo we all know today. Moving on to Microsoft and Apple, tracing their evolution from the early days of computing to the sleek, modern designs that we see today. You'll also get a glimpse of other computer brands, such as IBM and Dell, and how their logos have changed over time.
No exploration of tech logos would be complete without a deep dive into the logos of game console brands like Sony, Nintendo, and Xbox. We'll take a closer look at the many iterations of these logos, including the countless prototype logos that could have been.
Join us for an enlightening and entertaining journey through the evolution of tech. You'll learn so much about your favourite brands and get a hit of nostalgia along the way. Enjoy!

❤❤❤ magnify ❤❤❤
At my surprise, I turn out to know a lot more of these brands than I thought! I started to recognize them from the ones after 2007, since that's my birth year. When it comes to tech I know quite a few brands! This video itself just reminded me I know more about tech that I thought I did. I guess I kinda took it from my dad, since I kinda like tech as much as he does (that's literally the only thing we have in common lol), but even thoug I'm a pretty great programmer, I think I'm more of an artist than a tech lover, though I like modern tech. Anyway, told ya mom - girls can know a lot about tech too!
I was born in 2007 too

Perfectly what Logopedia was made for.
There is a mistake in this video.
The PS2 released on January 24th, 2000.

Your code is old logos to New logos, right?
昔は丁寧に意味までわかるように全てロゴでわかったが今はシンプルになり、本質が分かりにくくなったような気がする

7:04 where the question mark on the backgrond
logos will get simpler and simpler in the future
If simpler ,they follow minimalist design which many don't like ...so your assumption is incorrect.....
9:44 that's me! :)
VR: hello what about me!
1:30 - Sony doing random logos
1:44 - Founded a perfect logo
Moral: Try to do random and don't give up until you found a perfect one.
