Even though that's how I see it too. Tanimura basically waited for everyone else to kick somebody's ass, before beginning his speech. You can see that during the fight, seeing Arai knocked down as Akiyama looks at him. Kido knocked down, etc. I can just imagine Tanimura and Munakata just staring at each other, waiting for their cutscenes to start.
@@bee-zeesoul1018 Ikr, like, what happens when everyone else is fighting, it makes no sense, in any way possible? Unless they were talking or something, but why? Man this gave me the idea, what if during the final fights the cinematic would play like this. But during the battles there would be heat actions half way through each battle that would transition to the next fight. Each transitional heat action would either end with a massive hit on the characters respective enemy, or have it backfire into a huge counter on themselves depending on if you land it right or wrong. Because despite how awesome the fights were cinematically, some of the magic was lost because of the stagnation that can come from the difficulty of the fights. Especially during the special forces fight.
I've been searching to see if someone's synced 1:44 like you did with the vocals and maaan the chills, I think that's my favourite one in the whole series. The dynamic intros in this game were amazing but I think Yakuza 0 perfected them by having the music drop at the right moment.
Tanimura’s fight is just so powerful to me, even if he does get pushed out of the way. It might have to do with the music, but it’s just filled of so much hatred yet he’s the most rookie one of the Yakuza 4.
While all Yakuza endings are top notch I think Yakuza 4 is the best outta them It's badass enough, to not be too crazy It's bittersweet, but not anime levels of sweetness It's dramatic, but the drama makes sense To top it all off: there's no "We'll have a fair fight Kiryu, even though you just beat a hundred goons and is also injured" bullshit. Munakata is playing dirty, but that's his whole character. The ending next to it would probably be Yakuza 0 and then Yakuza 3 Kinda new games will bring back the "Many Protagonists" thing. Not the JRPG kind, but actually playing as a different character with a different story, but related to our main protagonist in one way or another. Not the Shinada way though. He's a cool character, but holy shit is he out of place. Honestly, playing as Daigo would make more sense
I think that spin-off where you would play as Daigo Dojima, Saejima, Majima and Watase trying to organize that security company they were going to start at the end of Yakuza 7 would be so cool.
As much as I liked 5s ending cause it felt like everyone had a equally important mission(Saejima rescusing Majima, Shinada going to the dome to make sure Haruka survives, and Kiryu and Akiyama being crowd control and keeping Kurosawas men and the rest of the Omi at bay until Kiryu has to fight Aizawa) I like 4s ending more because all the fights are happening at the same time so you can imagine lore wise this is what it was like. As for your other point I could get behind the idea of Akiyama, Saejima, Tanimura, or Majima getting their own games
This right here, is the true meaning of living like a man, fighting for something precious or your ideology going balls out without a care in the world for the fight
My favorite part is Tanimura said “I’m the 4th yakuza now munakata, WE are the yakuza four!!” Before drinking 15 staminan royale to actually beat up his guards
Kiryu: You clearly don't understand how important being chairman is, Daigo... so I'm gonna kick your ass until you do! Saejima: Kido-chan, you got the making of a real man, so don't hold back. BALLS OUT, KIDO! Tanimura: You're completely insane, Munakata! I'm gonna show you how this city works! Akiyama: ho? look at you, Arai. 🎷💓
I think the biggest feat was that he actually survived because if it was anybody else that didn't have half the guts like kido they would have been dead. Dead as hell spectating
There are two versions of For Faith. The one that plays during Tanimura's fight doesn't have vocals, but there is another version with vocals. The vocal version was originally used for the install screen of the PS3 version, but I don't think it's used anywhere in the remaster.
