We have now fitted a reversing camera that works with the factory head unit, no need for a 2nd screen on the dash.

I did exactly what you did but I couldn't buy a kit in the UK. Out of stock. Bought from Germany. Combined convector with software £170 and camera £50 totaled £230.

yes you can but it involves a bit more wiring which I have not done

How did you check if your head unit was compatible? Did it come with factory reverse camera or was it just the touch screen head unit?

I had to take the head unit out and look for a code printed on the head unit to see if it had the option for the camera
