How could you possibly unlike this. The man is practically providing a free service!! Some people, I dunno.
Agreed ,those ppl suck
Uh because people do so why leave a comment about it ?
This guy is giving free drum lessons. Usually, online you could pay 20 up to 70$ for a half hour. While his lessons are under 15mins usually they get right to the core exercises to improve a drummer's ability. While it's not one-on-one there are plenty of free online videos of drummers teaching techniques, rudiments, etc... I was lucky enough to play in my middle school/high school, and college drum lines. Which taught me one of the most valuable lessons of all... reading sheet music. I love how he goes straight for the blast beats lol.
these are great excercises even if you never wish to play at 200bpm....
thanks for this.
Been drumming for about 6 weeks specifically for metal. This man is going to be my messiah \m/
I'm starting to play drums again after 4 years and these will be my exercises to get in shape again. Thank you man! Insanely smooth playing and FUCK those doubles with hands are powerful!
Great lesson. But damn, those fast bass stuff is so satisfying to listen to. I'd love to see you make a video with bass drums only!
It's hard to find tutorials that are this good. Thanks!
Wanja is my favorite dbl bass drum player. Seriously he has the BEST dbl bass technique out there at least for constant 16th note playing. The fastest and the best. Using a dbl pedal and acoustic bass drum his technique is unrivaled.
Hands down the best
you're a fucking mavhine man, as a drummer that does not like really like extreme metal drumming I'm amazed by how well you pull this off
keep on rocking, and I hope you're in a band with that kind of talent
Them triplets sound like a chopper! You are a damn machine! ^^
Who can dislike this? Man you are a great drummer!
I really like how you clearly explain your methods! Thank you!

A big thank you to all my CZcams viewers, subscribers, facebook likers and twitter followers! A couple of days ago my facebook page reached 1000 likes and my CZcams channel got 10 000 subscribers! For this special occasion I made a video about my personal history as a drummer featuring previously unreleased video material from my pre-CZcams era amongst many more things.

For exercises 5.1 and 5.2, are you playing 16th notes with one hand, right?
No, I play 8th notes with my hand. It is the very same as exercise 5, I just leave away one of my hands.
+MorganvanHelsing got it!, so 5.1 and 5.2 are similar to Blast Beat 1 and BB2, the only difference is the feats at sixteenth notes on 5.1/5.2 instead of octaves in BB1/2, right?
Yes!
very helpful thank u so much for ur contribution
Absolute fantastic Tutorial!!!
It´s awesome how easy and well you can explain your lessons!
You animate me to practise harder!THANX A LOT FOR ALL YOUR DRUM-HELP!

Wow! This is a first class video. This guy is a natural instructor in addition to the amazing metal skills... Very impressive. Very nice.
You're the best dude keep rocking
Very good teacher !! Thank you !
That passion,, skills from experiences,, .... you're amazing drummer !
Thanks Wanja. I think this kind of "dependence" unison playing is what makes it sort of counterintuitive to folks who are new to playing in this style. Most of us spend years developing independence, vs. the coordinated dependence these exercises help strengthen. These are good, practical exercises for sure. Good stuff! Thanks you sir.
WOW! YOU ARE AWESOOOME WANJA NECHTAN GROGER! TNX MAN!

sos un genio!!
ouuuu men!! thanks, i was stuck in tupa tupa because play thrash, but i love death and black metal, i try your excercises , thanks broo and cheers from mexico :D
Your the man
very helpful.thank u much
Absolutely inspirational. It is a journey we are all on. Your explanation is straightforward and the camera angles help a lot. Dude the bass pedal work you execute is making a lot of pro drummers a bit insecure I bet..... Thank you for your gift to our CZcams community here. This has made me a better drummer and a better person. L
awesome foot/hand technique
Damn bro thanks👊🏻💥
I always like what you do and how you do it more efficiently than anyone else! One thing I would recommend is a more solid drum throne. Your throne is robbing your efficiency/conservation of energy.
Nice!
Thank you for the a early on training to learn the drums my friend
Although I don’t play this style, I really enjoyed your video The demonstrations are clear and easy to understand. I would like to make a suggestion and have you consider describing the technique you use with both hands and feet. It is very relaxed. That’s something I look for. Excellent Job.
Wow u r great speed metal drummer i loike (y)
excelente.!!!!
Man your tutorials are very helpful!. I think that you be more comfortbale while playing, If you raise your snare drum stand!( Well thats what i think, maybe it doesnt work for you ). Cheers from Mexico!
Hey WANJA. super ubungen . Wie ein maschinengewehr. 🤘 Grüsse von Pascal aus die niederlände.
Wanja you’re the man. I can’t believe how good you got your feet. Did you used to use the pearl eliminators?
Yes I used them before I switched to the Demon Drives.
So good. Thanks!!! I want my kit in front of me this instant!!! Haha.
Pace with grace, well done.
I would also like to see some slow motion ,close up of your unique hand technique, I just noticed that your thumb bends on each stroke.
Again many thanks for the time you have given to share. Much success to you!!!
OPPS Just found this for slowmo,
To adjust playback speed if you're using the Chrome browser, click the Settings icon in the lower-right corner of the playback window, then click the Speed selector. Choose 0.25 for quarter-speed playback or 0.5 for half-speed. It works!
Ванек ты красавчик... Я смотрю на тебя с завистью....
hey bro!!! its amazing, greetings from La Paz Bolivi...
Mr. Blair
Thank you bruv, love this, haha always tried to explain what I was doing to ppl, awesome vid for sure, FTW Bawsstastic Infinite
Wanja, you are the best! Please make video about start of the double bass beat, how to catch the balance point? When i start db beating, my legs are so strained, body is go forward, i can't get it. Thanks!
like a god
Instasubscribe. Ich spiele seit etwa 10 Jahren Gitarre, hab aber vor ein Paar Tagen ein 2. hand Roland electro kit gekauft. Deine Videos helfen jetzt schon!
Freut mich :)
Danke!
das est toll!!
wow!
Still the best tutorial
Wanja is a very noble person for teaching us everything he knows, but I'm sorry for his drums, it's not bad but he deserves a great drummer like other good drummers, we should support him to have a super drum as a thank you to his followers! Excuse my bad english use google translator.
Drummer is the musician, drums is the instrument...!!!
Yes, he deserves a good drummer to back him up.
Unbelievable precision. How long did it take for you to get this mastered?
groovy
Nechtan, you are amazing! I like your stuff and Im far from a metal expert. Im more fusion, rock or country but play a lot of exercise rudiments to stay loose and grow... I am enamored by your feet and hands, but the hand movements are interesting. Maybe can you teach a video on that motion? It looks like a nice flowing grip, snap, wrist roll, but what do you call it>? thanks man.
There is an old video where I explain that technique here: czcams.com/video/2RlqvRcbl_4/video.html
Awesome lesson! I wish I could find a drummer like you where I live. There is a rather frustrating lack of drummers here.
David Fugere where are you located?
