Iron farms are way easier than people think! The only "hard" part is moving villagers into the farm. Allot of tutorials waste your effort & make it even harder by having you load villagers into tiny cells. But not only is this harder to do, but also prevents you from trading with them!!! Then you have clickbait tutorials that claim to be the easiest because it has a 5x5 platform. But those require just as much work because you still have to move villagers, but then break all the time and have terrible rates because of the platform!!! I've become frustrated seeing all the BAD iron farm tuts out there, so I wanted to at least try & spread some positive information about them. I hope you enjoy!!!

As for rates! I got 429 iron, 108 poppys, and 47 string, in 1 hour with 30 villagers.
Rates will vary, especially with rain. (Afking/staying in the same chunk will increase chances of rain)
And the difference between 20 & 30 villagers should only be around 50 iron per hour give or take. (Very rarely will it spawn a 3rd golem before one of the others die)
If your rates are way lower than that: redo the beds, making sure to place the center 4 1st with the pillows next to the hopper

Glad you enjoyed! Oh man X]] Those are interesting I will say. I only vaguely know the basics of getting that done. Def have to transport all the villagers 1 by 1 so you can keep villages from merging together. A guy in the server I play in has a 12 stack though XD super crazy stuff

Get xp, food, gear, enchantments, iron, blocks, etc etc etc! Typically the 1st thing I build on a world

@OmLedu I botched it by trying to cure the villagers and had two villagers who had food next to each other and they were able to breed so I broke the farm but it's definitely my own fault and it's a good lesson to learn

Just kill the extras or add some bedz :D
One annoying thing about curing is they tend to swap workstations & beds as well >.< but! Once it's done it's done :DDD

A fresher iron farm design. Looks abit bulky but way more better than what I use, this seems to be easier to incorporate in a build or make a build on top of it

I sometimes make it 16x16 to fit it in a chunk. But having the spawning platform 17x17 is basically max size since golems can spawn 8 blocks from the bed :D
Would be better to have the bed's pillow directly in the center >.> but oh well haha
Never gives me problems and never runs out of iron haha

As long as the leader bed is in the center u can have anything around it. Sometimes I'll throw some leaves if the beds change cuz im too lazy. I meant to mention in the video, but flooding the villagers feet with water supposedly stops them from ever changing the beds.
@@OmLedu also putting them in minecarts and on top of double carpets, stops them from doing wacky stuff with their workstation and beds. Stops them from unlinking
@@sweetsugar6160 that makes sense! I don't usually have troubles with unlinking workstations though. & by the time they change beds im flooded with iron anyway so i get lazy X]]

I do love me a gold farm!!! Crying obsidian from piggy trades is my favorite block. I tend to avoid portal ticking though & build the nether based gold farm :]

Sure! I'll afk it for an hour or so and have a look see. It should be basically the same rates as any non-stacked iron farm (with a max size platform)
30 villagers can spawn 3 golems where as 20 can only spawn 2. But very very rarely will it actually manage to spawn 3 before one dies. So 20 & 30 villager farms tend to have close to the same rates as well.
But ill afk it for a bit and get back to you!
Oh, rates will also be affected by rain, & the longer a player stays in the same chunk (afk) the higher chance of rain there is -.- lolol

Xp, food, gear, enchants, blocks, etc from the villagers, plus iron for hoppers and stuff from the golems >:D
The worst issue with farms is people not knowing the difference between bedrock and java.
This def does help XD I should have touched on java mechanics to make sure people know the difference! :o Didn't even cross my mind at the time >.
