Thanks for sharing this review. I’ll be doing a review on it as well. The reason I purchased it was simply for the sound effects, so I’m hoping that it works with my podcast set up.
i found it and was amazed. ive paid lots of money for audio mixers and interfaces. this is a steal for $23 bucks. i bought just because. and it has built in sound effects. if your a sound junky, this is a must have just because.
I am a little confused what the difference between the headphones knob (top right knob) and the music player knob (bottom left knob) cuz both of them adjust volume also, what does the monitor knob do (bottom right)
@@ExtraCosmosthe manual doesnt say anything about it but after some messing around with it my best guess is that the headphones knob is headphones volume and the music player knob is a limiter. I got no clue what the monitor knob does tho
@@prodthedirtybunnythe manual actually does explain all of it lol. Headphones knob adjust volume coming into headphones. Music controls volume of music. Monitor knob controls volume of everything going into PC/phone/tablet.
@@prodthedirtybunny the volume of the music increases in your headphones with the music knob...but it also increases the volume of the music in your stream/recording. The headphones knob increases the overall volume of everything coming into your headphones (mic, music, etc.). The only thing I found that sucks is that we can't control the volume of the sound effects.
For $30 at Walmart, to me, this is a great small investment for someone new starting out on a podcast, or maybe a CZcams channel etc. Granted, this isn't Capital Records recording studio equipment technology, but again, a small amount of cash for someone new to experiment with. It definitely has my curiosity peaked and I think I'm going to go to Walmart and look at one. One question I want to dig into is with the Bluetooth connectivity to a cell phone, can this be used for phone calls? Say someone has a podcast and wanted to take calls from listeners? Is that possible with this mixer? Hell, I think I'm going spend $30 and get one myself to try out. Looks pretty cool!
So the thing about buying a mixer/interface… you need proper cables. And the proper equipment. If your using a headset mic it probably sounds bad because 1)your mic gain is all the way up causing clipping and… 2)your headset jack could be a 3mm jack but not be the right jack for that specific input. The plus side is that you could use that mics sound for a vocal part in a cool indie song
@@ExtraCosmoswell all the things I’ve seen is just buy an adapter. So that way you can actually use your usb microphones. Did you give that a try or even think of that?
I did think of that but my main question is why they don’t have both xlr and usb for options not just one or the other, it would of been easier if they had both for maximum compatibility for people
@@ExtraCosmos I got one but all the audio goes on the output and on a stream or recording the PC audio will sound on the recording creating REALLY bad echo :(
I would say this product is a very Bare Bones product meaning of get you where you need to be but you will always want to upgrade to something more professional
disappointing, i was hoping it would of been entirely software defined and programmable but all well. Guess i will just make one out of a ESP32 or something.
That's pretty useless. If you were a podcaster for 30 bucks just go spend your money on a better pair of headphones it'll do you a world of good more than that thing will. Just crap that nobody needs that you can spend money you don't have on

how do u get the music vocal cancel to work
I bought this one and it works great ... it uses condenser mics and dynamic mics... it is a good mixer ... In my opinion
I’m getting sidetone/monitoring how do I fix this
Can this be used in like call of duty Lobby’s like a soundboard

That is a good question, I should of looked into it more, I recommend looking up a manual online cause I don’t have the answer, have a good day

@@SlickDanger oh alright
The thing that I don’t get tho is why the music player knob also adjusts my headphone volume but in a more significant way

What microphone you have
Do you think I can record with a guitar? Connecting it directly from amp to the mixer to my phone?
I’m sorry I wouldn’t know the answer to that, but there is other things that can do that for you if you look it up
@@ExtraCosmos can you record to garage band
@@Alexthenobodefinitely should be able to....but for some reason this only works with Android devices and PC.
Better option would be an interface....but I think you should give it a try.
I had the same reaction when I saw it at walmart
Yeah, it’s just a random thing to find had to pick it up and talk about it.

Sorry I don’t think you are able to
Yes you can actually pushed my speakers to sound louder
Thanks for Sharing..
I just bought one it worth the money

Got me one
No xlr for microphone 😢😢 i was about to return my streamer X in a heartbeat
Yeah it is kind of a weird setup with the way the audio interface is
grab an xlr to 1/4 inch adaptor
Do you think I could get away with using this to play guitar into my computer??
bro how do u turn the playback of urself off when first turning it on
You turn off the feedback button
@@ExtraCosmos what’s one is that lol
I’m with him on this I got a really bad echo
Ok so can I hook it straight to my phone?
To use the Bluetooth soundboard yes, but to use the mixer you will need a microphone/headset and a computer
I recently bought it. ,. For me it works excellent for the price,,. I advise you to read the instructions
Noted, I liked the product just my complaint still stands about there not being a usb for people who use a usb microphone.
