- It was such a blast having Filipino Snack Time with my close friend, Shandi, who grew up in the Philippines when she was a little girl. Not only are we laughing almost the entire time we are eating favorite snacks from the Philippines, but she tells us amazing (and surprising) Clark Air Force Base stories of when she lived there as a young child into her teens. She talks about how the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo destroyed Clark Air Force Base as well as her fun experiences riding a Filipino Jeepney and singing karaoke as a young American child growing up in the Philippines.
