Thank you for introducing me to the shadowhunters books, I started with the infernal devices first and just this month and am almost done with it which is amazing for me because I am a slow reader. It is one of my fav series now and I would never have read them if it wasn’t for you.
I listen to audio books at my overnight job. One night my boss needed to talk to me so I quickly put away my phone (listening to headphones is fine, but being on your phone is not!) so that he wouldn’t see me scrolling on it. In that process of quickly concealing my phone I accidentally somehow disconnected my Bluetooth... and the book kept playing out loud from my back pocket... it happened to be on that scene in Court Of Wings and Fury where the main characters are doing the nasty on the KITCHEN TABLE WITH EXTREME DETAIL.
I was mortified. And I KNOW he heard it because my dumbass fumbled to turn it off in a timely manner. So yeah. I vote to stop steamy scenes in books if you’re in public 😂😂😂

I also agree with you on JK Rowling. I've just really learned to separate the author from the work because I used to idolize her, and now I'm just really disgusted by her, but I can't ignore the impact that Harry Potter had in my life, and I still will not remove my Harry Potter tattoos, because that's a symbol of the impact.

Omg I usually don't comment on videos, and I know I'm a day late. I wanted to say I'm only about 3 minutes in the video and saw you have not yet read Felix Ever After and I just wanted to drop my two cents in the piggy bank and say.... PLEASE READ THIS BOOK ASAP!!! I read it, it got me out of a huge reading slump I've been in during quarantine. BuT it's soooo much more than that it has definitely become one of my favorites. As a straight white cis female I think it's a book that not only i wamt people to read but should read. Learned so much and changed my life for the better. Okay that's it have a great day and treat people with kindness.
