I was at the game, I’m a Town fan and I’d love to know what match MT was watching…’we had the better moments’ ‘we were on top for the majority of the game’ I’d laugh if it wasn’t so woeful! Good grief man, say it like it is, we were not good enough and the better team won!
Didn’t shrews have
36% of possession - at HOME. “We were in total control”
Watching a different game. I felt shrews had one tactic - “cross it in the box”
none of those were penalties.
Watching as a rovers fan, it just felt like a matter of time. Shrews couldn’t control the ball in the middle of the park and got chances mainly from breaks
That isn’t control, that’s like playing away tactics at home because you don’t have enough to dominate
I thought a 'Coach' knew how to defend from a corner, even with 6'5" blokes amongst the ranks, and have a reasonable chance of keeping a clean sheet, especially against lower league (FGR) and non-league teams (Stourbridge) and hey, maybe score a goal or two. Unfortunately, this is not the case. At this rate, it's going to be a long and sad season...
While I didn’t see the game the BBC stats say Shrewsbury had 36% possession. I’m sure it was closer than that might suggest but how can he say that “for large parts if not all of that game we were in total control”?
A team with 64% possession won the game on the counter attack😂 yeah nice one mate, I’m not even a salop and can see you’re talking out your rear end.
Well to be honest I was at that game this afternoon and no way we were in total control for most of the match.
I would say that Bristol are one of the poorer teams so far this season that I have seen but they still showed us a thing or two.
I hate to say it but unless there are major improvements it's going to be a very long hard season.

Wasn't good enough to win the game but never mind,
Never thought I’d see the day when we were a second class Walsall. He did nothing there and will do nothing here. Change for the sake of change won’t work, it’s not the Shrewsbury way. Ah well at least we can play Crewe next season. Bring back Steve Cotterill
I hate to say it, but I think we'll struggle to stay up. This manager is not up to the job.
Wow. This is a manager who doesn't want to admit that having 65% possession and scoring 2 goals isn't just luck. Firstly, not a penalty, so get lost. Secondly, you did not control the game, very even, probably swaying in our favour. So, in conclusion, take the L and what is a Salop?
Yeah gashead here it was tight 1st half but 2nd half we started better and were clinical when it mattered defense was excellent today UTG
