Man, the first thing I made in my instant pot was a pot roast.
And honestly, I couldn't tell that it wasn't slow cooked. It was delicious.
Yep. I prefer my pot roast done in the instant pot. I'm not sure why there's didn't break down properly, but I've never had that issue.
7 minutes in and this is the most I've laughed at any youtube video from any creator in months. Thank you Mythical Crew for setting them up for this beautiful disaster. And thank you Rhett and Link for both being great sports about this today.

On the Smoshcast they mentioned that they would often get ALL the smells from the Mythical Kitchen, and one time Josh was deep frying a shoe and Ian was concerned for his employees' safety and got mad at Josh.
The kitchen has since moved though, so no cinnamon roll smells for them!

I like them struggling to find the food and feed themselves TREMENDOUSLY better than the weird fake hands and shovels and whatnot that comes from the outfield. It's SO MUCH FUNNIER.

It's hilarious how most people think the instant pot is some kind of new technology. It's just a friggen pressure cooker.
To be fair... I think it's come quite a way from a traditional pressure cooker, regardless of that's all it's doing. My dad loved his, and lord knows I wouldn't know what to do with it. 😆 No easy digital options. Just a pot with a lid that had a valve thing on top. Hahaha. So digital options? Revolutionary! 🤣
Umm sort of but not really a traditional pressure cooker requires a stove top and lots of hours.. instant pot doesn’t

Yeah it’s just really well marketed. There are plenty of other brands that make the same basic device, which is just a self-heating pressure cooker with a timer.
