- Have you ever dreamt of buying every single tool to figure out which ones you'll like using the most? Me too! So that's exactly what I did. It's time to start unboxing and going through the massive pile of Milwaukee tools. I'm going to break this up into sections and try to compare like to like as much as possible. Milwaukee makes many different kinds, so we're going to unbox and go through all of them.

The color of the light is actually excellent in the trades. gives you a good look at the true color. As an electrician it helps keep my wires from getting crossed
I agree. They chose the warmer color temperature on purpose with the first batch of lights. I thing they call it Tru view technology. I am a big fan of these lights. But to be honest they are.purposr built for guys that work in the trades and I don't believe this guy knows what it's like to work on a big jobsite. Not sure why he is buying and reviewing construction tools when his purpose is automotive.
exactly! a lot of milwaukee lights it is scaled so the colors of wire or anything really can be the true color
@@IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 That is my impression too. The color temp is perfect for any of the trades.
The rechargeable Rover Flood Light is by far the best! Use it for every single car application, under the hood, interior work, under the car, and detailing. With the magnet it just sticks anywhere and is just the right size. Everyone should have one in their tool box
What model number?
I think everyone should have a headlamp in the glove box/toolbox. Not necessarily a Milwaukee one, but thy are super handy if you have to change a tire or something when its dark. Its really hard to hold a flashlight and operate a tool at the same time.
This is a great idea.
I love this whole series, been catching up on it. I would have to agree that I find the Scangrip lights better overall...but, the headlamp units are intriguing. Like someone else commented below, I think it's valuable to have one on hand in the glovebox or toolbox because there's always that night you get caught needing to work on something (flat tire along the road, etc.) and having hands free light is so valuable. Worth considering.
That first light he opens for hard hat is awsome. I never owned a hard hat but I daily used it when I did electrical workand that light would light up the whole attic on its own.
Matt I know this is off topic but I just saw my 718 GT4 today it is awaiting PDI the wait is agony the car looks so good youtube does not do that car justice in person it's amazing.
The hot stick light literally just connects on to a pole to light the area when a lineman turns the power back on when the transformer blows
Matt is the Doug DeMuro of Electric Tools... has to poke the finger in every product inspected 👆
One of the best Milwaukee led lights is the Pivoting Rover LED. It’s magnetic, so it sticks to most metal surfaces, then it adjusts via the pivoting mechanism. It can sit on any surface then be adjusted via the pivot. It can also hang from a bag or belt via the built in carabiner. It has three different modes, 500/300/150 (I think). In addition it’s rechargeable. My unit came with an extra battery and charger.
This and the M12 Rocket Light are my go to Milwaukee lighting products.
@Roger Gonzalez, on high, but much longer on low or medium modes. Besides, if you have an extra battery you can just swap out.
It goes on the end of an extendable hot stick to help light up the cut out or switch your trying to operate, as a line man that would be very useful👍
Love these video's.
The wash and talks and your house tour are awesome video's as well. Would be so awesome having my own wash bay!! We aren't allowed to wash vehicles where I live, other then car wash, nothing but water can go down the street drains.
You got my sub!
Got the pen light for Christmas and love the color compared to the cool light colored flashlights. Just hope they come out with a rechargeable one.
Thank you I asked for this but didn’t think you got personal lighting stuff. Mostly pass but neat
15:45 the light I'm using when changing brakes on my van. specially the magnet and pivot part.
Great informative video; I personally think it would help adding some video bookmarks to each product model. I think this would help potential customers that are looking for opinions on certain model number lights.
I'll do you one better. I'll be making summary videos at the end of the process.
@@ObsessedGarage I'll be looking forward to it! Thanks for all the great work and help to the community
It's cool and all but all i'm waiting for is Civic content. :)
It will be back in a few weeks.

"By the end of this process..." You'll have to start ordering all of the new releases. Or dive deeper into the specialized tools they have. You could spend several months on their current line if you were to buy every tool they have in their cordless line.
That light goes on our hot sticks at work for power lines.
Nice one always guys
Hey man I do sanitation for Taylor farms, the guns they give us are so bulky and much wrist is killing me at the end of my shift, what nozzle would you recommend me.? Are you able to customize me a high pressure nozzle.? I'll pay any price.. pls help. 😥🤧😭
Those Redlithium usb batteries just look like 18650s or 20700/21700 in a proprietary case.
Yeah, pretty much what they are, just more expensive.
Can Matt dress up and be my santa this year? My list is getting too long my wife is going to hate me.. 🤣
Just moved to Milwaukee. The hate the lights. I have a Dewalt light that has a hook. It’s handheld and the right size.
The hinges on the Milwaukee headlamps break in a matter of weeks when you even take care of them. Hinge has weak design and Milwaukee won’t even replace it if you open a case with them about it. So I had to go with the Coast brand headlamps. Just FYI.
I find that when i abuse my tools, they will last longer
I need this tool for inspection my MTB fork and for my motorscooter
FYI doesn’t seem like milwaukee tools will warranty 3rd party sellers like on amazon. So it pays to buy from an authorized seller some times.
They do not. Some slip through the cracks, but they generally will not warranty unauthorized dealers.
Amazing video once again. I wanted your opinion on weather there is a difference between a normal led flash light and a paint correction light to find paint defects. Thank you
There is a significant difference in the quality of LED light output. None of these are good enough to be great for paint correction.
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me@@ObsessedGarage
Could you do a video on how much it would cost to buy all of these items?
That's the plan.
Hey! I’m NOT a Tool! But I will admit to being a Tool-Geek 😊
Enjoying this Master-Class Series.
Thank u.
The reason the colour is yellow is for correct colour of what the light is hitting. Mechanics, electricians and mechanical trades appreciate it. Correct Wire colours when deactivating a bomb will be CRITICAL 🤣
No, 2700K or 3000K is just cheaper and easier to make.
I like that you are giving your honest opinion on if it feels like a quality product but please have the products already unboxed and familiar with the functions and mention some of the features. I’m light I was interested you never mentioned the brightness or run time. Facts like this would have been very helpful for myself and others.
You dumped the best Rover lights.
I'm not saying they are bad. I just didn't have a use for them.
Why do I trust Matt with my purchasing decisions? This. Every one of these videos makes me so confident. Bought a Kranzle today from Obsessed Garage because of the pressure washing project series of videos. I suspect some red in my toolbox after this is said and done 😂👍
So the rover flood with its magnet and pivot would be absolutely useless in an engine bay when the pocket flood with a crappier magnet and no pivot is ??
Yes
Noted
maybe ask milwaukee for a dedicated 5000 to 6500 k paint correction lights, , all they need is adapt the light to existing different mounts or type ! they might be open to the suggestion?
The great news here is they are watching and have already asked me for a list of what I would want in lights!
@@ObsessedGarage Awesome Matt !! Great News !!
How much in USD? I Want Convert To IDR?
You bought everything? The entire tool line up?
Most of it.
Obsessed Garage did you get heated gear?
Giddyup!
12:48 how come you scratched your face with it xD haha
Milwaukee let’s GO🤙
Civic
It will be back in a few weeks. It is in Boston getting the audio system done.
I finally figured out how your arms got so jacked. Having to break open hundreds of tool clamshells anyone would be ripped
USB charging outlets, Snap-on item number (KAPS5) $99.00 on Shop Snap-on.
Put the apple down and grab better.
Did he buy thr heated gear as well?
I didn't, but I may grab that stuff later on.
Is this a marketing channel now?
It's not. I'm super interested in these tools for my own use. What you are watching is the discovery process to see which ones I would buy. The byproduct of this pursuit is that others may want that process documented. That is what I am providing.
those lights and the color are great. the whiter/cooler lights reflect off every thing and end up just blinding the fk out of you. those lights at least get close to daylight and are super bright wile not blinding the fk out of you. They work great in both automotive and carpentry applications like in a dark corner cabinet ect. i have the red lithium headband with hardhat attachment and the pivoting flood light the carabiner is actually useful it just clips to the side of my tool bag so i always have it. stick ones suck for engine bay they always fall over and hit the ground. Just saying they are all the same color temp including the flashlight you like
When are the regular videos coming back? lol this is alot of videos for some dumb lights.
Waiting for more non Milwaukee Content
There will be plenty of both.
Obsessed Garage awesome looking for to it!
Finally someone talks about shitty orange color light. I had them and the color temperature really is not the best. Daylight tone is best... You are buying LED technology why would you use incandescent tone Milwaukee?
If your orange color is the best as you claim, why do cars don't use this shitty color? Other than lights love Milwaukee tools...
I am sure if they offered daylight tone lamps they would outsell their so call better true view
Second...
Tired of all these lights, ready to get into the real tools
Me too. The lights are done.
You should have been the last person to review a flashlight because clearly you don't know the reason for the yellow light and you think it was a cost saving technique when that's not the case at all.
Opens 1st product at 3min in smh
Help Evan shanks build his shop to make it high quality like Adams and yours
Do you know about true view technology?? I know ur just starting out with Milwaukee and I am too I only have one Milwaukee tool it's a Gen 3 1/4 impact. But I know a fair bit about their tools and features I wish u looked into these tools like homework before u make these videos. Its cringey to hear u butcher some terminology and lack of info.
I document the process rather than attempt to look "smart." This is the initial discovery. By the end of the process I will be extremely proficient.
Yo you may say something isn’t good but that’s not necessarily true. It’s just not good for you. The rover light you took it out looked at it for two seconds and said oh this thing is no good no use for it and Chucked it aside. Sorry Milwaukee. That’s one of there best selling lights in the plumbing heating air conditioning and electrical trades that is a very valuable light and be loved by all the above category. FYI
You are missing the point here. I cater to the garage guy.
Obsessed Garage no no I get it. I guess my problem was I love that light and you hurt my feelings. Ha ha. I get it I’m a garage guy by passion and a plumber by trade. I appreciate being able to see all the products at once.
Close to unsubscribing
You might want to brace yourself then man. I have about 25 more to make to come up with conclusions. This channel is about obsessions and documenting the process. It's not any different building an M5, figuring out garage flooring, or chasing what tool to buy. The choice I'm making is to share the discovery process in all things. This is and never will be a do donuts in my car platform.
@@ObsessedGaragenot looking for doughnuts or unboxing power tools, but detailing.
