Jordan is the most clutch player of all time because he literally performed exactly the same in clutch time as he did during the rest of the game in terms of shooting percentage despite everyone in the building knowing that he was going to take the last shot.😂

Every game the Bulls played, if it was within 10 points with 5 minutes left, you just knew MJ would close it out and find a way to win. Last minute shots always seemed like they had a better chance of dropping, so every close game was like a great sports movie where you kinda knew the ending would be great. I saw all his games on TV living in the Chicago suburbs during his career, got to see many in person including the NBA Finals and even met Jordan and got to shake his hand his second year in the league. He was and is still the Greatest Of All Time--never took nights off to rest, saying he realized the fans at the game might only get to the game that one time and he didn't want to disappoint them. Greatness doesn't stop at scoring or throwing down fancy dunks and layups--it extends to how he wanted to crush his opponents while always playing for his fans, even the ones in the cheap seats.

Plumbers? Too funny, what the youth don't understand is there was a player who had the best midrange, best post up, best layup package, fade away highest vertical, 4.3 40yd, and more. Every fake he made you had to respect, that's what youngsters just don't get, he can score any way he wanted, every fake had to be respected. He'd make players now look like plumbers.

@@queztheplug Nah bro. Lebron is not even close to be the GOAT, he's not even number 2. And it's easy to tell he's not the GOAT because he actually played against Kobe and he was getting owned at every turn. When they guarded each other, Kobe would shoot above 40% as usual and Lebron would shoot under 30%, case closed. LeBronze also found a way to lead the US national team to a bronze medal, TWICE ! And he needed Kobe to come bail his ass out and clutch that 4th quarter against Spain the third time so he could finally win the gold. He just failed way too many times when he was expected to win. Bron's fans love to put the blame on Jordan for not wheeling his 30-win Bulls past Larry and his 67-win Celtics stacked with Hall of Famers but they'll overlook Lebron failing to win twice with the best record in the league in Cleveland, including a choke job in the 2007 finals when he averaged 22ppg on 36% shooting. He then abandoned his hometown to team up with D-Wade who was another MVP candidate and top5 player in the league, plus a perennial All-Star in Chris Bosh, only to choke again in the finals when he got embarrassed by Jason f*cking Terry in a series where he scored only 18 points TOTAL in all the 4th quarters of that series. How can you compare that to a guy who won 10 scoring titles, 9 first defensive team, 3 steals title, 5 MVPs, and led the Bulls to a stretch of 632 freaking games without losing 3 games in a row, during which he won 6 rings and 6 finals MVPS...in only 11 full seasons with the Bulls lmao. There is no universe in which Lebron is close to MJ, that is nothing but media-made lunacy, my friend.

Also his highlights are so fun to watch because he gives you everything as a basketball player that a hooper could want to do. Btw, those plumbers are some of the all-time greats and many of the NBA fifty greatest players. The thing alot of the generations after Jordan's years simply don't realize is that this was MJ every 👏 single 👏 night 👏. No plays off. No rest management. No resting on defense. No backing down. He WAS thee Apex predator of the league! Unrivaled in determination & killer instinct. Skilled in everyway. Motivated to play every game at a level others just couldn't reach. Ten scoring titles (NBA record) in an era where physicality was at its highest (imagine how many more he would have had if players couldn't touch him), 6 Championships (2 three peats with no losses), 5 MVPs, 6 Finals MVPs, a Defensive Player of the Year award (which was usually given to the big men of that time) and countless other benchmark stats that have yet to be broken. Still the only player in NBA history to win the scoring title, MVP, a Championship, Finals MVP and be named to the All-Defensive 1st team in the same season. He did that 4 times. Nearly every obscure stat has Jordan's name on top of it or in it. The greatetid range game of all time. A defensice killer. Clutch in everyway. And all of this was done in the Golden Era of the league, in effectively 14 seasons. Twelve seasons if we only look at his Bulls years. Nearly eleven Bulls years if we take out the majority of his second season that he lost due to a foot injury. That is an insane accumulation of accomplishments and stats in such a relatively average length career. He played all 82 in 9 of those seasons as well. Just imagine the accomplishments and stats he could have accumulated had he played 17, 18, 19 or 20 seasons. Just imagine where he would be sitting on the "all-time" lists. How many more titles and points he would have amassed. Imagine if he doesn't retire for two years in his PRIME or Jerry Krause/Reinsdorf don't kick Phil to the curb at the end of The Last Dance in '98 making MJ's decision to retire again that much easier. That Bulls team had the ability to win 8 straight, maybe more. Just imagine how much higher the benchmarks would have been pushed. It's insane to think about. Also, take this into consideration. LeBron passed Kareem in scoring in year 20. We know this. Great accomplishment. But that is a longevity stat. Kobe, Karl, LeBron and Kareem all sit above Jordan on the scoring list and they all played 20 seasons or more. All with similar scoring totals (obviously). Now think of this, at 14 seasons, respectively, Jordan was ahead of all 4 of them in points. Jordan was nearly 5000 points ahead of LeBron at that point - not to mention he was ahead of LeBron in every statistical category other than assists at that point as well. But if you do the math by his averages, Jordan surpasses Kareem in potentially his 17th season. Years ahead of LeBron. I mean, simply give Jordan back his second season due to injury and the two seasons he retired in his prime, right there is Kareem passing territory. He also most likely catches and surpasses Stockton for steals leader as well. Give him a 20 seasons career, which he would have had if he didn't retire twice, he probably is around 45-46k points, thousands ahead of everyone. So when you look at it that way, it becomes quite clear that Jordan's career and potential was on a whole other level. Not knocking LeBron or anyone else. Greats are great, no matter any way we look at it. But one guy simply towered over the rest in dominate fashion. Perspective tells us that. Luckily I got to see his career unfold. It was a remarkable time to watch basketball. And that isn't just nostalgia talking either. It is just the way it was. Game in and game out. Jordan simply put, is the GOAT.
"You are simply the standard by which basketball excellence is measured." - David Stern
That said, solid reaction! Good to see younger generations appreciating what this man did. Give the ultimate GOAT debate a shot next. It's a few years old, but it is eye opening.

MJ pretty much played only 11 sesaons. 1985 he got ankle injury and 1994 he came back at the end of season without preparation. Played only about 1/5th of the game both times. And two other seasons were of course playing as the owner of the club with the Wizards at age 39 and 40. Out of those 11 healthy seasons, He was 3rd place in scoring (on his rookie season) and other 10 times were 1st.

Just by the way they gonna make that dude play back then at his height and size. They'd have turned him into like a Karl Malone. And you wouldn't have got the chance to see all he can really do. Back in the 80's and 90's when I was a kid.. the ref's allowed soo much more contact both defensively and offensively.. less fouls were called if your hand got slapped you werent kicked off the court if you held onto someone jumping or got clothlines in mid air.. push-off's offensively was allowed. Bro.. it was a wild and good time for basketball. I mean it sucks if you got hurt but offensively you couldnt get away with alot of the stuff you could in the current era. Also players would be allowed to stay in the paint without being called out on it. The fact Jordan was dunking on everyone with so many people in the paint is ridiculas.

You're right tho, that don't mean we can't appreciate Lebron cause we're talking top 2 all time which ain't bad!! Lebron lacked that competitiveness and fire which imo separated MJ. Kobe had it but he didn't have the same talent as Jordan or Bron which is why he's just a slight step behind them, but Bron is so unbelievably talented that he didn't even need that fire. He played in an era where defenders could knock you to the floor whenever you got to the paint, these days every time there's any hard contact they have to review for a flagrant foul. There's so much flopping going on these days it's ridiculous. I'm sorry but you can't lose 6 times in the finals and be the goat and you definitely can't have a guy from your same era match you in rings like Curry matched Lebron. I think MJ had the greatest sequence in NBA history that really showed his dominance. Not one play but a strong of 3-4 plays. G6 against Utah. They were down 3 and needed a quick bucket, in bounds play on the side, got it to MJ, scored within line 5 seconds. Utah gets into a half court set inside out game with Hornacek cutting through the baseline to go to the weak side, MJ leaves hornacek, steals the ball from Karl, goes down and hits that iconic shot over Russell. Defense, basketball IQ, clutchness, everything rolled into 1 sequence.

No that was not a push off according to NBA rules and regulations a push off is with both hands and both arms fully extended and with full contact on the opposing player and that's not what happened and I just want to correct your knowledge of NBA rules and regulations other than that your reaction was great

I love your reaction to this video. I'm an old head(48). The only thing I take issue with is the "plumber" comment. You are calling NBA players "plumbers" based on how they look. That's disrespectful to those players and has nothing to do with how good the player is.

MJ playing plumbers? Players back then actually played defense. Hard fouls knock downs etc. players today don’t play defense and are soooo soft compared to back in the day. Jordan was the best player when he played and would be the best player if he played in today’s game !!!

I'm going to be honest with you. If Lebron was in Jordan's era, he would still have the potential to be a star, but he wouldn't be in the GOAT conversation at all, especially if he didn't toughen up his mindset. You don't want Jordan in this era. They couldn't stop Jordan with the rules as they were then, with how lax things are now, Jordan would torment the league. To put it into perspective, how many 3's did Harden need the two years he averaged 36 and 34? Jordan averaged 37ppg during the 86-87 season and only 36 of his total points that season came from three pointers. He averaged 35ppg the next season, and only 21 of his total points came from three pointers. Jordan was routinely attacking the paint when it was still clogged with bigs, and dunking on multiple players at once. Can you imagine the stuff he'd be doing with all the space there is now?

There's nothing I love more than when one of these teenagers starts a video with "LeBron is my GOAT" and then within 30 seconds of the video it's abundantly clear the kid has literally never seen a single game that Jordan played.
What exactly is it that makes you doubt us old guys?
We've been here the whole time. I've seen them both with my own eyes. I've seen LeBron's entire career. I love LeBron. Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time and it's not close.

If you knew the context behind some of these highlights, you'll be more impressed. The dunk over Mel Turpin. That half spin fade over LaBradford Smith. All the highlights against "Jordan stopper" Gerald Wilkins. The Knicks highlights during the Van Gundy era. The back stories makes the highlights that much better.

Not to be like that but Bron dont even pass the eye test. Way too many personal failures to count and exuses excuses. But that is the norm now becuaee in this day and age, NO ONE is taking personal accountability and everyone forces ideas instead of letting things happen organically. I watched Lebron highlighta and almost fell asleep. Dunking over 6'1 dudes over and over. Chae down blocks on lil guys that get blown out of proportion. At least plumbers work hard, these spoiled athletes today, U got guys that play at a B- level making 200 million dollars. ZERO incentive to play hard. Lebron ahows us this all the time 🤣

Jordan has kept more top 50 players from winning a championship than any other player ever. What you do not understand is that he was so great. Everyone else looked inept. Also. Jordan doesn’t quit. Doesn’t get carried of the floor. And. He dunked on everyone. He didn’t shy away from contact. Watch a video by danger productions comparing Jordan to Lebron. It will be eye opening.

I don’t think LeBron is trash and I’m 51 years old actually do you think Jordan is the goat? However, I think LeBron is the goat for this era. If that makes any sense in other words, he’s the best player we have now that’s why I support it And is the best basketball player for this age. My son was a huge Kobe fan still is and LeBron fan until one day he saw me watching this video that you’re watching, and I actually dove in to see what Jordan was actually like before he realize Jordan is the actual goat. But I also told him LeBron can also still be your goat I mean, if you like him, don’t dislike him just because Jordan was better, it’s going to be impossible for somebody to pass Jordan‘s.

It's how MJ makes you feel when you watch him play...... LeBron doesn't have that flair, artistry or drive like MJ. Most young influencers highest watched videos are of MJ.....NOT LeBron, for a reason. LeBron chose #23 to wear why? He idolized MJ, why? Real NBA players and coaches past and present, mostly say MJ is the GOAT. Trust your own eyes and what you're seeing right now. And the numbers don't lie.
