Open diff burnouts can end badly. Seen a few people grenade their diffs after doing long or repeat one wheelers. The spider gears in the diff overheat and gall up or come apart. They normally only move a little bit when turning or a wheel slips, but when you do a burnout a constant heavy load is placed on these gears. Sometimes you have better luck, but it will eventually end badly. Fwd or rwd, doesn't matter. I keep a spider gear from my friends diff on my mantle as a story piece. He did a ton of burnouts before it let go, it was trying to pop a tire that did his in. Took the whole trans with it and that gear fell out, so hot it was lighting the atf that it was sitting in on fire till it cooled down.
The reason why it spinning one cause the limited slip clutch worn out or abuse of aggressive driving ala GM g80s break because of abuse driving on driveline and axle shock.
ur so salty but ya lets not talk about hemis dropping vlave seats still for 20 plus years or the fact the the 4l60e and 6l60es are still horrible trasmissions and displacement on demand ruining ur lifters

Let your friend show you how to ruin your ride standing outside.
that noise isn't from the diff.. that's the engine..
Engines don't make that kinda noise. It's the diff or transmission possibly
nah it's the diff, after it broke he did a one wheel peel, instead of spinning both wheels
Cool
Why not just video tape burning green cash...
Block - freakin' - heads.....
The tires were worn out, truck got leveled on 33's a few days later, this video is also over ten years old, we were just out having some fun.
