    Great video! Very easy to follow. That part made an insane difference when cornering. I absolutely recommend upgrading from stock

    If you are only replacing the sway bar links and not the bar then remove the stock sway bar hardware, install the links, then reinstall the bar.

    I just ordered this complete kit sway bar and links aaaand it was not cheap but what is on these buggys I truly hope this works like you say 😂 I have a 2022 x3 and the body roll is pretty bad had it 3 wks did a half donut to turn around and the thing flipped 3 times scaaaared the 💩💩 out me lol didn't think it was that top heavy and exactly what the older gentlemen explained about the front going down and the rear tire coming up is exactly what happened to me so I guess 580 bucks is worth saving my life just ordered this today hope it's in stock my car is down to the frame would be so easy to install cant wait to try out your products I have read great reviews on your products

    I did not remove either shock (2021 X3 RS). I only removed the bottom shock bolt on the driver side in order to install the bar. I tied the shock up out of the way. I am setting the links at 4" center to center. I am using the center hole positions.

    I wish you would had mentioned that The bushing and clamp can be removed. Much easier to get the sway bar set in place.

    I just installed this kit with ZRP swaybar links and I cannot bolt the links to the front hole with my HCR upper control arms.

    So, after watching this vid a few times...Why are the short links adjustable? In the demonstration he shoved the bar down to line up the link bolt and I saw no part in the video
    except for tightening the "jam" nut that showed any reason for the link adjustment...just curious

      There are small variations in the bar, arms and frame that should be adjusted for if needed. Now 95% of all cars can run the links the same length and be just fine. But if you have decked your car or have aftermarket arms or some other major variation you can adjust for that. Basically you don’t want the bar loaded to either side when the car is on the ground and level.

    Please confirm if your front sway bar for 72 X3 with ct raceworks arm. I went to order and it states only guaranteed to work with factory arms. I am also getting the links.

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 měsíci

      It works but we supply an aluminum spacer that supports the arm mount. It needs to be turned down a bit to fit into their tube mount. It’s needed or you can rip the mount off the arm a year or two from now.

    I'm assuming the factory bolts and nuts are good enough is why you don't supply them?

    • @ShockTherapyllc
      @ShockTherapyllc  Před 4 lety

      We supply new hardware for the links but use the factory bushing mounts. They are huge and plenty strong.
