You can also get plantation shutters that are split, so the top can be open and the bottom closed. You can specify how much is on the top and bottom.

Shoot, I replaced a honeycomb blind less than a month ago and never thought about getting the split. It was so easy I was able to do it myself! Great video and idea.

I really like those blinds. They would work wonderful in my living room. Gridley is on patrol duty and he needs to be able to see out. He is cute.

Looks great! It apoears that you have enough depth to your window frame to install the blinds inside the frame? I also love the view out your window. Your neighbors across the street have awnings that make the homes look so cozy and welcoming.😊

Hi, Chief. Love all your videos and those blinds are really nice. Thank you for your service in the Navy. My dad quit school and joined the Navy when he was 17 during World War II. He just turned 96. I was wondering if you did a lifestyle visit. I have been thinking about moving there for a couple of years now. I was told it might be a good thing to rent a home in the Villages for a month, to see if I like the lifestyle. I would be moving from the midwest, and am tired of the weather here. Did you spend any time there before you bought your house?
Hi Cheryl, first of all a big salute to your father! He sounds awesome! So I did a few videos that cover my life style visit and my experiences finding a home I’ll list ‘em here. I wish I would have rented or done a few more lifestyle visits because it’s so big, I should have taken my time. This house is cool but it’s not 100% for me, as I drive around and get to know the area I’ve seen various areas and homes that might have been a better fit. If you can swing it, rent a house and visit every area here you can. Hello Chief--We just bought a home in Polo Ridge--looks like the same floor plan as yours. We're moving there at the end of Ap from AZ!!! Hi Big Al, we have the largest American Legion in the world from what I'm told, and a group of vets meet every Tuesday at a bar called City Fire in lake sumter not to far from where you're gonna live, like a couple miles. I havent found a Navy specific club yet but lets start one when you get here! Not sure about an Elks club, looks like the closest one is 15 miles away, unless there is one in the villages i dont know about. Polo Ridge is nice area there, your 5 minutes from my place. We'll grab a beer when you get here brother!
Those are great, but the pup looked so sad. Ha
I leave the windows open for him unless I have a video conference, he looks so disappointed in that video, oh the guilt trip he likes to give me!
