Lmao. That made me laugh too. To Broughy's defense though its pretty hard to defend an X80 in most cars on a straight. Lol
1 hour long race and wins 3.3k. Seems balanced.

New race idea : Itali GTB Custom vs Visiones.
White Girl (GTB Custom) vs Blacks (Visiones).
Too many Oreo's there for Broughy to handle.

The feeling that you can't catch up anymore to the more advance cars
The Visione driver was way too aggressive to be honest.
I watched this race live on Twitch and the entire chat was mocking the Visione lol. He was too aggressive and his overtaking skills were crap
Joshua Chan that’s what happens when you watch the race from one PoV. Broughy was too aggressive, he knows what’s the physics like on GTA and he had no chance to defend a Visione when the finish was this far away. If Broughy let him go, there’d be no crashes and both drivers would score a much better result
Broughy's defending was fair and good. Broughy "told him" how to overtake, just back off and pass him with a better exit.
EpicWaffle_97 which wouldnt make sense because Visione has no power and Itali has. However, when it comes to the cornering abilities, it’s completely opposite. Aidy had the downforce and spotted the gap as Broughy went wide, so he took the opportunity. But Broughy didn’t leave enough space on the inside for the Visione, which lead to contact between the drivers.
But everyone wants to see only what they want to see. If you can’t accept the reality, that’s fair enough :)
Broughy actually turns into aidy which causes the collision. Yes aidy ran slightly wide but he wasnt left enough room by broughy.
The collisions beforehand r down mostly to the itali's horrible grip and down to broughy defending for his life as if hes Max Verstrappen.
If youve ever raced on a hills circuit u will know how hard it is to actually get an overtake done so collisions should be expected at some point. Its just a racing incident.
I have to say that the NODO crew is truly a class act! The organization alone is impressive ...it's refreshing really

It's cool that you put this as an event. On PS4 there is Cirrus doing playlists with this system, and on PC sundays we also do these style staggered races using AbeCede's system. If anyone wants to try this style on PC, sign up to NODO and find the Daily Playlist on the forums! Never had the balls myself to do it as an hour+ race however as people complain about waiting times. It's nice too see this though!

Because of how the race was setup broughy ended in the "correct" place. As he started as 16th and ended in 14th.
Fantastic idea, would love to see this again for the expanded versions with HSW cars absurdly widening the gap! I think that would be really interesting to see how much longer they'd have to wait compared to the older top cars back then
We all know that you can race well, but your ability to keep your head, while still commentating objectively during that battle with the visione was very impressive.
This was a fun race! Had a good time. I still need to post the highlights from this as well.

What a great race. And top driving skills too, especially defending against that Visione. I felt particular joy to see the good old Zentorno do so well.
Same with entity, which is not even from dlc unlike zentorno

Love these race props. I need to get back online and try out all the new track building props that have been added since i last played..which is almost 2 years ago.. til that point Ive made about 175 races and 4 race series..

Great watch, wish you'd let the Visione pass though, as you say you'd more likely have got top 10, but it would also have been a good watch seeing you battle the 6-odd cars that were just ahead of you at the time.
I always come back to this video, definitely one of my favourites from you, you should try something like this again, maybe with some of the newer supers added or other classes :)

staggered start is also how club internal sailing races have been done for a long time
GT4's final challenge made me break my television. Almost threw my PS2 and spent almost 3 days straight trying to complete it. FeelsBadMan.
That fact that the X80 won even with it's weird active spoiler shenanigans makes it even more impressive

Love watching these concept races filled with good and great drivers..... watching the normal races with the 1322 crew is painful to watch despite your best efforts to get hem to race properly..... there are maybe half a dozen gd 1322 drivers on each platform.....the rest are truly awful......but this is great racing to watch.

I remember that the hardest events on GT4 to me wasn't that one, I found out that one was pretty easy.
Getting gold on some of the A and IB license however, holy crap some of them made me rage to infinity.

Rly fun to watch, although u might messed up with x80 starting too far in front
Best lap for osiris and t20 just shows how close they are
Maybe something you can do with 5M if you haven't already is a class re-allocation showcase. Moving the Pariah into the supers class, moving the lower end supers into the sports, the low end sports into the sedans/ coupes, the blista compact into the compacts... etc. Show Rockstar the error of their ways. :P
You have to do this again with the Krieger, the Emerus, the Deveste8, the new Pegassi Ignus, and maybe some of the iffy sport cars (we all know the Itali RSX, the Itali GTO and the Pariah were meant to be in supers and not sports)
Edit: Just finished watching it, this is the best kind of racing ever! It's honestly better than any F1 GP I've seen cuz I could actually feel the adrenaline when you were chasing down the Entity XF and getting chased down by the Zentorno! Do make a new one with newer cars!

This kind of race only works properly if all of the drivers involved are skilled at overtaking and defending and know what the limits are of how aggressive you can be. The Visione driver was a prime example of what not to do in these kinds of races. Absolutely terrible. Great video though.

How exactly was the timing measured? Did one driver drive every car and get an average best lap for it so the driver skill wasn’t involved in the ordering of the start?
I think you drove well. The car just didn't quite have what it takes.
When you first call the track the north loop i immediately thoguht of the gran turismo event. lol I never done that, causeim a shit driver. Gotta watch that video if i remember to do so. xD

Id love to see this with other classes, not just like sports or sports classic but motorbikes, compacts. Just maybe not an hour long for the racers sake, some of those cars are painfully slow

Entitiy XF is very solid IMO, consider it's 2013 car.
did you message the Vissione driver after the race to teach him how to overtake a slower car? would be useful knowledge for later since he obviously doesn't know ( I wouldn't have known either probably)

Because catch-up has no place in races like this and goes against everything we do on this channel
do this again but with the top 30 supercars atm so with the krieger emerus deveste eight thrax etc
