This is one of my favourite Clouseau moments: "I can't reach it, you'll have to find something to stand on - GAHHH". 🤣🤣 It's the pure way he says it 🤣🤣😜
@@Romulan2469 Actually no 😅 I saw the previous film on Channel 4 the other day and he says "Where are you my little yellow friend?" 🤣🤣 NOTHING beats naughty comedy

Clouseau always treats Dreyfuss like his best friend - no matter how clear it is that Dreyfuss hates him - and never really realizes Cato is his real best friend. Cato never asks for anything in return after all he goes through while helping Clouseau.
'This time I will stand on your shoulders.' 'What difference will that make?' 'Because I am taller than you, you fool' A mate of mine pointed out that when Cato hands Clouseau the eclair and Clouseau stares at the camera in exasperation, he looks just like Captain Mainwaring from Dad's Army used to look in the same circumstances.
This is a "Laurel and Hardy break-in" (Edwards and Sellers cited L&H as inspiration), complete with Sellers` Oliver Hardy "camera look" at 1:24. It`s too bad Cato was used as Clouseau`s assistant in only this one movie.
Genius. Clouseau puts the eclair on top of Cato's head and stand on him and it squishes. Cato then falls into the bakery and flour all on his face and Clouseau says at least your not yellow anymeeeurr. Clouseau pronouncing.
The funniest thing I have ever heard in a pink panther movie this time i will stand on your shoulders what for because i am taller than you. Priceless.
yeah, they could have used both the comedic and Martial Arts talents of Jackie Chan to a great effect as Cato. Imagine Cato pretending to not know how to fight when sparring with Clouseau, as a way to keep both his boss satisfied and his job, but kicking ass to protect him when they were facing the villains, while Clouseau was thinking he was the one beating them down. And all that comedic action choreographed by the man himself. So much wasted potential for some great comedy. I am sure the only reason they didn't use Cato's character, was to avoid the whole racist angle associated with him in the old films.
@@KilliK69 They said it was racial issues because part of the comedy had Clouseau calling him "yellow" etc 🤣 But that aside, I still think Chan as Cato in the reboot would've been fine. The physical comedy part was great. Maybe just leave out the "yellow" comments
It's because of the Ferrari GTO that Jeremy Clarkson and James May nicknamed the Cato and because of scenes like this, that I think I might use the popular quote, "Not Now, Cato!"
@clouseau187 That is exactly what happens. Clouseau says to his asian manservant after being covered with fluor AT Least your not yellow anymeeuuurr. Spelled incorrectly to show Clouseau's accent.
Hysterical! I loved watching these.
Cato was one of my favorites.
The jam eyes still makes me scream with laughter after all these years!

Yer, makes no difference which way round they are.

Just imagine if that was broadcast on tv today. I can imagine the complaints would be sky high in the politically correct world we live in today.
For Clouseau 👍
Love the non pc humor.

Cato doesn't get paid enough for everything he does.
No he doesn't especially getting hurt by attacking his boss as ordered.
Unfortunately this sometimes happens when you're yellow
And everything that is destroyed Cato has to cleanup lol

I think he was a Virgo himself if I'm not mistaken.

This could have totaly been a Laurel & Hardy scene.
Cato should have stuck with 'The Green Hornet',
Ponton comes NOWHERE NEAR Cato 🤣🤣 They should've shown the finger to the studios and cast Jackie Chan as Cato in the Steve Martin films 🤣🤣

Good clean racism - good times.
