I think you meant 8 cup of apples? The few times I’ve done this, I’ve done 8 apples and every time I had to double all the other ingredients besides the sweet cream to offset the apples…it makes a ton! Doesn’t matter though, it’s so delicious, it never goes to waste!

I was talking to a friend from Mexico City. He told me in his family tamales and pozole are not the typical holiday meal. He usually eats tamales year round, and pozole in September. Ensalada de fruta, cachetes de bacalao, and romeritos with shrimp are the Christmas meal.
