    So if i archived fortnite for example. Whenever i redownload it would all my skins and everything else be there still??

      That is correct. Archiving doesn't delete any data. Anything you purchased should still be there.

    Thanks, and deleting my save data oddly did not free up space any way... And odd this actually works but glad it does haha

    What happens after you archive the game? How do you play it again?
    A Nintendo newbie here.

      You can re-download any archived game. They’ll usually have a little cloud symbol next to them, which means it can be downloaded again. You won’t lose any save data, so you can pick up where you left off.
      Hope this helps!

    So say I want both for overwatch and fortnite but I don’t have a enough data can this work?

    • @TheNintenNERD
      @TheNintenNERD  Před 2 lety +1

      If those are the two games that you want on your device, then you would need to archive the games that would give you that space you need (for example, you would archive the games that you are not playing right now or that you have beaten). So yes, this could absolutely work for you.
      You can also add space to your Switch by adding a micro sd card if you don’t have one. I have a video on this as well if you are interested:

      Hope this helps you!

      I see. Then yeah, a micro sd card will be perfect for you.
      Enjoy your new Switch!

      Sorry I just thought of something do you have to repay to redownload? because the overwatch costs like 30.00 and don’t want to pay for it again the other game was free
