    Beautiful video. In Sept 2006 I visited Roma, Vatican, Assisi (bus' day trip from Rome); Florence (Firenzie), Pisa, 3 villages of Cinque Terra (Pisa & Cinque Terra each place/ each day by train day trip from Florence); Venice (Venezia). 17 years later April 2023 we revisited Venice. And we had a Cosmos Catholic tour which started from Milano, 1 day by train to visit Lake Como! (a link of piano below, long time ago I played this song & finally visiting Lake Como), Turin (Torino), Pavia (Certosa monastery), Padua (Padova), Pamposa - Ravenna to Roma. Castel Gandolfo; Pietrelcina (St. Pio of Pietrelcina); San Giovanni Rotondo, Lanciano, Loreto - Assisi; Cascia (St. Rita of Cascia) - Roma. -- To hear I played "Lake Como" on piano - czcams.com/video/6AtIK9JG8_I/video.html

    Having visited both Positano and Capri I can state they are both overpriced tourist traps. Avoid like the plague unless you wish to be overwhelmed by hordes of tourists. Sicily is worth a visit.

    • @littlebigjohn69
      @littlebigjohn69 Před rokem +2

      both are worth a trip during low tourist time, and ive been there many times , anyplace on earth where trourism is a draw has its drawbacks, but you got to visit during slow time and their jaw dropping beautiful.

    the food is better in southern Italy and cheaper and bigger than in the north. destinations not to be missed the Amalfi coast, Positano and Capri and don't forget to bring your bikini because the water is fantastic. then from there by train you can easily reach Naples, Rome, Florence and Milan. I would start the itinerary from Amalfi (Salerno) stay a few days here to taste the cuisine that is top and take a swim in the crystal clear sea Dolce Vita

    • @EGO0808
      @EGO0808 Před rokem +3

      You are so incredibly wrong, the Northern parts in Piedmont, Venice, Friuli, Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Liguria and so on boast phenomenal flavours of world reknowned dishes and culinary traditions, in fact the world’s best Italian restaurants are from the Northern part of the country. Cucina povere may be worth enjoying in the South, but the elevated cuisine of the North has so much more to offer.

    • @stuardlittle8251
      @stuardlittle8251 Před rokem +1

      @@EGO0808 the cuisine of central and southern Italy is more typical, e più conosciuta all'estero the raw materials are excellent and even more rewarded. The dishes of the south are more based on fish while in the north they eat more meat (even fine) Milan does not cook well according to my taste I prefer Friul. in the south it's not a poor cuisine because fish is very expensive xD. Michelin-starred restaurants are also in the south
