Aww man, had my share of stripped bolts so suggesting investing in a bolt extractor set. It only works to loosen any bolt but definitely comes in handle in times like what you had. Also got to say I love the seats as well as the blue lighting. Have fun in AZ and tell Sarah we all said hi!

Nice seats, digging the logo script. Does the blue match the wheels well? Those bolts are inverted torx, not standard hex. If an 8mm fit, they're E10 size. A lot of the time you can get away with using a hex socket, but you found out the downside of when it doesn't work out well. Enjoy the desert!

Seats looks awesome!! A stripped bolt is a MF'r!!! I just had to deal with one in a cramped spot, trying to get a fender off. Took about the same time, I just ended up cutting it when I got it out far enough to cut..🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Nice job!👍 just becareful with the harnesses, you said you don't have a harness bar, and you don't want to bolt them down to the bottom of the seat, look into fia and other specs. I dont think you want the harness to not do the job its intended for and potentially crush your spine! 😬
Are the materials you chose easy to clean? I see you still have cup holders, so I guess you bring drinks into the FRS. A spill happens so fast you know. I have leatherette in my Alltrack, it's so easy to clean. Great video!
Seats look great! You look good in them. But you need to cut back on the curbs. They are not good for you and are too expensive. Have fun with Sarah. You two need to get together more often.

Another trick for a stripped bolt is to cut a slot in the head and use a screwdriver to remove the bolt.
