They made combat animations look more bright and more powerful now as well and I love it. Everything feels stronger.
I always thought he felt weaker than 2018. Glad they fixed it.

Spartan, Ares and Zeus armor are badass AF. Also, fighting alongside Thor? They definitely listened to fans asking for it. Same with armor with fur.

I dont think its because the fans, they updated the niflheim fight arena so you can now choose to play as Kratos or Atreus. You can also choose every companion that existed in the game like Thor, brok, freya, Angrboda and thrud

Spartan armor, the thing most people wanted
Now the final fight against Thor will be lagenday. Not only it will be harder, but I'll fight on even grounds against him (two behemoths fighting bare chested)

it is a shame that they didn't add the bare handed combat moves from God of War 2018. I miss agile strike. They could have easily added those skills to Ragnarok
Combat would become too bloated, if they did that. Spear >>> Bare Hands

Agile strike was the greatest thing ever. It’s helped connect attacks whenever you threw your axe and was also a dope way to move around fast
Agile strike spam was too strong, I liked it too but we have to face the facts. What I don't appreciate is having nothing instead, zero dodge attack. I mean at least give us something, fists just feel so stiff compared to the rest of the combat

Fr, I have 62 hours on my first play through which I got platinum on. Now just because of the new beginning armor I want to finish it again.
Great they've added New Game + now, GOW Ragnarok is such an awesome game.
I’ve come to watch this after playing the new games and it’s awesome to see the background of Kratos. I love his character so much in the new games so it’s awesome to see his roots.

What would be the point you have the guardian shield, it would be a waste of resources sadly.
I agree, the Ares Armor is cool but that’s not accurate to how it originally looked , tho I agree that the Golden Fleece should be there also I doubt that it’d look the same as it did it’d be altered as the new Ares armor is unfortunately

The Golden Fleece is tied to Greek Pantheon, just like Nemean Cestus and the rest of Kratos' old kit. They lost their powers when Pantheon was destroyed.

You can also get the pickle armor. Its made of 100% half sour pickles. Really solid.

Does anyone know if side quest progression will reset if you start NG+?
For new game plus all the missions are reset yes but you can still finish them from your other save
An update I'm waiting for is the ability to switch companions at Sindri's House. Makes getting access to the fun and lore filled banter between Kratos, Atreus, and Freya a lot easier.
Zeus armor looks like Ares armor but white. It would be great if you put in Kratos god of war armor
My favorite is the spartan armor,that's remind me kratos in god of war old games and the shield and spear is similar at the game ghost of sparta

Spartan armour waist isn't working properly. It's just waist of survival without any stats. Also his shield is hovering over his wrist. The chains of the blades of chaos are missing. Like, did an intern make it to something?

The bifrost is insane especially with the bifrost storm ability equiped
only if they removed the waist armour in the Spartan set to look like younger version.

From what i've seen in interviews. They thought that would be what everyone expected and thought it'd play too similar to the axe. The spear was done instead to give Kratos a weapon he could truly call his own.

the only similaritie would be throwing it and it coming back
for runic attacks they could have done lighting attacks a light runic could have been an electric version of that ice beam attack from 2018 and the heavy runic attack could have been summoning a massive thunder bolt and several when upgraded
