Can you shed some light on the brass(?) seal. did you impress the seal after dipping the bottle in water?

About how many lbs did you use for this particular dip? Also, can you reheat the remaining product for later use?

    • @oceanbytez847

I'd estimate 3-5 Ib's and yes you can reuse remaining product. I have actually melted down and recycled wax seals from gift cards i sent out.

The answer is: don't do it. Trying to open a wine bottle that's been dipped in wax is one of the greatest pains in the ass known to wine drinkers, despite how many videos are out there saying it's "simple." I literally bent my corkscrew one time trying to open one of these torture devices, and I'm convinced that people who do this have a sadistic tendency.

That's why wine alcoholics are superior to beer alcoholics. You can pop a beer open even with your teeth if you know how, but with wine, man you gotta sweat if you wanna get drunk, you have to earn the liver failure

So what happens if the wax was at 299 or at 301, would shit happens ?
Also who in his/hers right mind would spend $159 for a bottle of wine when a $5 would be just as good; I am sure you could not tell the difference.
