    Thank you so much all I did was cut a jig for the str8 part and slid it in and got a epoxy good as new 180 stcroi bass x😊

    Literally just snapped my rod on sunday.was going to throw my rod away.

    OK I couldn’t find a nail that was the right size but I did find an old drill bit. It did the trick fit just about perfect the epoxy took up the rest of the space.

    My 3 y'old son playing with my jigging rod the other day..hit the ceiling fan and the tip of the rod just broke..been searching on how to fix it and found your video bro..thanks alot..my rod is pe 1-3 cant find any nail that fit but i tried with my wife sewing needle and it just snug in perfectly...haha..nice!..im waiting for epoxy and braid that i ordered online and we'll good to go..👍

    Your video is 3 years in the past now, so I hope you see this. I've watched a few videos this morning of repairs and in each the ends of the rod are squared off using a hacksaw. Each time I watched the videos I wondered, doesn't the fiberglass tear at the last cut of the hacksaw? So, wouldn't taping the cut area prior to hacksawing prevent tear out?

    I couldn't find a nail small enough was thinking about the drill bit and I ended up using a hook shank I cut the hook and the eye off sweet fit

    is it really strong to handel the weight? cause mine just got dent

    This is possible the worst thing you can do. That section is now going to have 0 flex and going to snap again on any large fish. You’d be better off re tipping the end and just making it a shorter rod

    I broke my rod and just rednecked it with a coat hanger and jb weld lol

      Think I’d go that route before a nail. At least the coat hanger has flex. 🥹. Did your fix work??

    You should really watch a few other video's of this repair from professionals so you can learn to do it RIGHT.....
