Twang Files #5. brew day with untinned extract

Does extract from a plastic tub have twang the same as a kit tin?
Or not....
Today I brew up a batch with Briess Unhopped Liquid Extract and have a taste of Twang Files #4 while I'm at it.

Howdy John, another great addition to the series!
I just finished off a batch of Mangrove Jacks American IPA NO15. Despite the fact I over carbonated it to buggery, it was a great result. I don't believe there was any twang present in that either.

I knowticed an wierd flavor in the red ale kit also. I won't be buying it again. Will be looking forward to this brews result. Cheers 🍻

I get home from work tonight, pop into garage, Son-in-law comes in, walks to bar and as he pulls one, says, this Irish Red Ale goes alright..... so it's got one fan at least.
